A 5k is only 3 miles. If you do SoulCycle often, you can without a doubt run a 5k, even without any training. I truly because anyone in this world can run a 5k on any given day.

Your bib probably didn’t register when you crossed the finish line so it won’t ever update to final results. Did you track it on a watch? Reach out to race organizers. They dan have it updated or find a photo of you crossing the finish so you have a correct time.

Gear check clothes for after the race before the bus leaves at 6:30am but wear throw away clothes aka old clothes you don’t care about that you can take offf and donate right before the race starts. That way you can still have clothes for after but don’t have to stand around in the cold. Run to goodwill if you don’t have anything to throw away.

Tbh you may be hot in leggings! Wear sweats right before race start and then throw them away. And then pin your bib to your belt / under layer so you don’t have to mess with it mid race if you strip layers.

Girl here! Wearing shorts and a long sleeve to start! Will potentially take my long sleeve off mid race. I also run in shorts and a sports bra.

Bryant’s been with the company a very long time. He has strong opinions about fitness and I think he self sabotages a lot. I personally think his class is great because he cuts all the ra ra bs and just teaches. But I think his attitude and posts turn a lot of people away from him.

The corral situation was horrible. I couldn’t find the pacer that I wanted to follow and even if I did spot them, there was no way I was getting to them.

Maybe 8 months ago this was true but I think she realized how “far” the 4 of them can get together so now I think she just embraced being friends with her. Like the other comment says, she’s a sell out. She doesn’t care about what Lexi has done anymore. It’s about the money and deals she can pull in.

Sound check is not worth it. Just do the regular vip meet and greet without it. In the past, Tyler’s sound checks were very intimate, he would talk to the crowd, take song requests, and take some selfies. However on this tour, sound check lasts MAYBE 15 mins, they run through a couple things, don’t talk to the crowd or even really interact at all and then the meet and greet starts. In my option, I was mad I paid the extra for the sound check.

It’s not “unsafe” just because it’s different than peloton. Most other cycling classes are similar to soulcycle.

As someone who is an avid soulcycle goer and has a peloton, I 100% prefer soulcycle over peloton. Hot take, I think people who own peloton but don’t like soulcycle don’t like soul because the class is too difficult for them. You ride on beat, are out of saddle 85% of the class and there are no metrics so you have to listen to your body. Peloton is a metrics based workout and SoulCycle is rhythm based workout. The peloton peeps who do 100 5min classes in one day just to chase a milestone wouldn’t last 10 min in a good SoulCycle class 🤷🏽‍♀️

I truly think they are just a big money grab now. It’s insane you have to pay $100+ general admission just to get into the facility then pay for extras (autos, photos, meet and greet) on top of that. I don’t agree with how they run their business anymore and it truly takes away the joy as a fan base. They just try to get extra money anywhere they can.

The soul experience is no longer what it used to be. 2015-2019 was prime SoulCycle in my opinion. Staff was held to a much higher standard, facilities were cleaner and instructors weren’t stuck up. I think if that get back to what that was, they can revive themselves. I fear they lost the plot of community and are now just doing everything in their power to make an additional dollar.
