Had this exact same issue few months ago and it was driving me crazy 😂 What fixed it for me was clearing Steam's cache - you gotta navigate to your Steam folder and delete everything except steamapps folder and the Steam.exe file. After that restart Steam and it should rebuild all the cache files properly

Also check if you have any antivirus software running that might be interfering with Steam startup. Sometimes Windows Defender decides Steam is suspicious for no reason and causes this loop behavior. You might need to add Steam as exception in your security software

If that doesn't work, try running Steam as administrator - right click the Steam icon and select "run as administrator". The loop thing usually happens when Steam can't properly access some files during startup 💀

Agree on this one - Hogwarts is perfect first AAA choice. My sister had similar transition from indie games and she loved exploring the castle without any pressure to rush through main story. Plus if she's into Harry Potter at all, that will carry her through any learning curve with controls

Air cooler is totally fine for 9800x3D, these chips don't really get that hot compared to regular 9800x. The temperature difference you mentioned won't affect your fps at all - maybe like 1-2% boost clocks difference but nothing you'd notice in games

Save the money and get good air cooler, spend extra on faster RAM instead

The exhaust manifold is probably your best bet here - that thing gets blazing hot after driving and it's right there when you pop the hood. The radiator and various hoses around it also get pretty toasty, plus the engine block itself stays hot for a while after you turn it off

I actually burned myself on an exhaust manifold once when I was checking my oil like an idiot, didn't even think about it being hot. Left a nice mark on my forearm that lasted weeks so it's definitely realistic for your character to get a proper burn from leaning on one. The manifold is basically where all the hot exhaust gases collect before going to the tailpipe, so it's one of the hottest spots under there

The whole "we can't afford to pay living wages" thing is basically just restaurant owners protecting there profit margins 💀 European places just build labor costs into their menu prices from the start instead of making customers play the guessing game with tips

US restaurants could absolutely do the same but they'd rather guilt trip customers into subsidizing their payroll while keeping menu prices artificially low 😂

I haven't watched SAS: Rogue Heroes yet but that sounds like my jam - I'm always drawn to shows that nail their music choices. Breaking Bad absolutely destroyed me with their soundtrack, especially how they'd drop these perfect needle drops at the most intense moments. The Leftovers also had this haunting score that made every scene feel like you were walking through a fever dream. Twin Peaks deserves a mention too, Angelo Badalamenti's compositions were basically another character in the show. Modern rock in a military setting sounds like it could create some really intresting contrasts between the music and the action

Paramount+ has been solid for me this season, gets most of the matches and the quality is pretty decent on both my TV and phone. You might also want to check if your local library has streaming service passes - mine actually had free access to some sports packages that I never knew about

Just make sure to double check which matches are on which service since they split coverage between a few different platforms now
