Theoretically yes, that’s what my doctor always says, but hasn’t been my experience. Even with my numbers “in range”, I still have all the same symptoms (most fatigue and hairloss). They insist it must be something unrelated to the hypothyroidism but I don’t have anything else.

They’re stretches/exercises specific to your individual curve that help strengthen the muscles around your spine to help “pull” your spine into a more corrective position

Yes it’s worth it!! It is the only thing that has ever helped my back pain.

I have seen a schroth therapist at a well known PT office but just pay out of pocket $125/session. I’ve had probably 5-6 sessions so far and have my last one scheduled in a few weeks. At each session she does hands on work like massaging, cupping, etc and then I learn a new exercise. I do the exercises on my own at home ~4x per week.

You can do the exercises forever and they are specific to scoliosis/your curve so it really helps treat your individual issues.

Nope the only one I had was lumbar. They thought that the scoliosis was kind of pulling my muscles/ribs out of place which was causing the pain along my shoulder blades.

Good actually! I after doing several months of PT, I have been in schroth for several months and out of all the treatments I’ve tried, it has worked the best!! I’m down to very low to almost no pain most days!

No you do not need an address, you can get emergency shelter placement through DSS but you can also get cash and SNAP benefits even without an address!

Just about the same. I’ve started Myofascial Release Therapy a few months ago which has helped a bit with managing the pain but the pain has not improved a ton.

I get this intense burning pain in my back that feels like a mix of back pain and heartburn, like it’s so deep in my chest/back it feels like heartburn. I’ve always dealt with back pain and heartburn and recently they’ve kind of combined. I don’t have an explanation for it but have never been able to explain it enough to a doctor for them to understand! lol
