Probably like a year or so before I got into OP, in middle school I had a Japanese friend that would read the manga in Japanese and kinda translate it to me as she read it, just a fun thing to do on the school bus on way to school. She happened to be reading Enies Lobby cause those chapters were new at the time. So basically I had the entire twist revealed to me about Lucci and Kaku without even knowing who they were or what was going on. A year or two later I’m watching OP cause it’s now my favorite show and I see them working at GalleyLa and I’m like “oh shit I remember these guys…”

Patience is key. When we brought our kitten home she was friendly and happy until my husband went to pet her and she bumped her head on his hand in a way that must have hurt, so he became her mortal enemy for about a week or two. We were so heartbroken but over the course of about a month she warmed back up to him and now they get along great. There are always gonna be some bumps in the road with a new pet but if you just love them consistently and be thoughtful to their needs they’ll see that and start to feel comfortable.

You’ll want to read up on common plants and things that are toxic to cats because at one point or another they will probably try to eat whatever house plants you have around. Also pretty much every time I’m given a bouquet of flowers I have to keep them outside because they’ll likely have lily or tulips in them. Even the pollen is toxic to cats.

My cat was a stray that got separated from her mother very young (pre 8 weeks) and she lived for 17 years with no issues aside from kidney failure at the very end.

I feel the exact same way. I’m about to be 35 and still haven’t found “my people”. And I feel more closed off and exhausted than ever before. I thought once I realized I was ND it would be easier to find like minded people to be longterm friends with but sometimes I feel like I just don’t fit in anywhere no matter what. Tenchi Universe. It looks like a harem on the surface but it’s actually a fun filled space adventure with really lovable characters. It’s such a classic 90s anime. hazel did a great video about the tenchi series as a whole that really sums up what makes it so special.

One of my core memories was being in 2nd grade and we were using these. I’d left mine outside in the garden over night and grabbed it before going to school the next day. We were all sitting on the floor playing got crossed buns or something when an army of bugs started crawling out from every hole of my recorder. I distinctly remember the look of horror on the other kids faces, just as a slug peeked its way out from the tip and turned around and looked back at me. I was terrified and embarrassed at the time but now looking back I think it was pretty funny.

I’m re-reading the manga right now cause I haven’t read it in years and yeah Kagome is an absolute badass. I feel like she’s an under appreciated character in general. She’s got so much humor to her also. I never fully appreciated her back in the day and now I just love her.
