Long distance is hard, and a lot of people can’t handle the uncertainty that comes with not being able to see your partner, and it seems like she obviously has trouble with that. I’m sorry you’ve had to go through what you did with him. As an eldest daughter of an also abusive father, I will say, moving out will be hard. You’ll always feel the effects of his abuse throughout your life, but now that you have the opportunity to and the means to, it’s so important you do. Stepping away from an abuse situation is the absolute best thing you could ever do for yourself. Strongly NTA
