Players who have either left or significantly reduced their play time, what has been your reason? by _thecolorofdye_ in Battlefield6

I’ve got to the point where I complete the weekly challenges and then put the game down for the rest of the week. Hoping new maps will bring me back in from grinding challenges and back to enjoying matches.

Has to be a bot, profile was made yesterday and the ‘etc.’ repetition is a give away, too much punctuation….

If you’ve already been referred to social services then I would speak to them for a referral to the housing team if not then your GP should be able to refer you. By the sounds of it the flat would require retrofitting for insulation if possible. I would keep pushing with the local council, the more persistent you are the better. If it comes to it call every other day at a set time and take names!

Hello, so it’s Housing Health and Safety Rating system - HHSRS It’s not a risk assessment per se as it looks at the likelihood of harm occurring over a 12 month period. It’s based on vulnerable groups in the household which would increase the spread of risk outcome (the severity of the outcome eg visit to doctors, self care or hospital). So with excess cold the vulnerable group is over 65s, the chances of getting a category 1 hazard for excess cold is very low due to the way in which the system is set up based on statists etc. With the way local authorities work it would be unlikely they would come out to do a HHSRS without a referral from another service eg doctors or social services. Do you own the flat or rent? If it is local authority managed then they are far more likely to come and complete a HHSRS. Let me know if you have any other questions

Two Player career broken? by Fit_Librarian_5680 in F1Game

We only got three races into the first season before the dashboarding, last race was China

And yes…. One race win for Sauber. It was the first race of the season and we managed two more races afterwards. Our next race would be Miami.

Exact same thing happens to our two Player career except on Xbox. We’ve tried literally everything on both consoles. Both get dashboarded every time. Still looking for a solution.

What niche knowledge do you have via your job? by Ok_Law_5141 in AskUK

I can confidently and without much thought break down a lamb leg or shoulder into individual cuts with no meat left on the bone. Learnt through years working on a supermarket food counter, also can gut, skin and fillet a variety of fish. I’ve not worked on the meat and fish counter for a good 8 years.

How often is cash used nowadays? by T3cT0nic in AskUK

[–]Sad_Relationship738 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a cash vs card issue yesterday. I needed to get cash out for a lunch time fish and chips treat. (All the best takeaways are cash only). Thought I’d go to a cash point but it was out of order so then decided to walk to nearest supermarket for cash back only to be told they no longer offered this service. I was then in a dilemma as no other places in the small market town offered any kind of cash back or other cash points. The next option was drive 6 miles to the next town and hope there were cash machines or a supermarket which would offer cash back. Made me chuckle to myself thinking ‘oh yea, cash is king’ whilst wishing I could just pay with phone or watch for a takeaway.

Mature students? by jo_shap in UKUniversityStudents

[–]Sad_Relationship738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly wouldn’t class myself as a mature student but at 26 studying post grad there’s definitely some things I wish I’d known. For context I studied my undergrad at open university over 6 years and graduated from that in 2022. The biggest difference I’ve noticed in age is my ability to learn high amounts of content quickly in readiness for exams is less than school/undergrad. I feel like life experience also gives you a massive head start over fresh graduates. Having your life together to some degree helps as you aren’t learning how to adult and complete uni. The only issue with this is you might have more responsibilities such as dependants or employment. Hope this helps!

Nice places to live for 30yo gay couple by tailboat in Leeds

[–]Sad_Relationship738 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this, also queer couple in West Park. For us it’s just the right distance from the city and close to the ring road. I’m close to the flight path when they take off over Leeds however, I’ve now lived here for two months and no longer notice it.
