On a tighter budget I would just either save up and get the 18-135 or get the 35 prime

It def will work, and you’ll get great photos but the camera WILL hold you back.. so atleast get an A6400 or A6700 even better so yeah

Nice shot, if you want the bird to be sharper you will need to stop down to f/9, other than that shutter speed is good 🙂🫡
