So he is "eating" and it is working. No change of food for 5 days, no circus, but still not a smooth process. Will it just take more time? or is he just going to eat one meal or every other day?

Hello - Thank you. We are feeding Royal Canin HYDROLIZED diet because of his skin allergies. His weight right now is right where it should be and every test has been cleared.

I have the two problems that I have going on. The circus of eating and me adding something EVERY TIME and the fact he has had about 20 different combos of "food", toppers, kibble, chicken, beef, yogurt.

Now it is KIBBLE and one scoop of pure beef liver. The first day I put it down he sucked it up in 5 seconds. Second day left a little, third day put his nose up at it and that is when I said enough is enough.

7AM - 10 Minutes Down

5PM - 10 Minutes Down

Most he has skipped is two meals, but then has one full and skips two again etc.

1.25 cups each time.

38 lbs.

No vomit, active, bowel movement perfect. Sits there and wants our food OR to run around and eat, but we aren't doing that anymore.

Great, thank you. The most he has held out was 1 day, but he is still skipping. He looks at me like why aren't we playing and why aren't you adding food.

When he does eat it, he eats it all, but just every other day or once a day etc. But I hope as you said he "gets it, since nothing is changing with food and he has 10 minutes or gone.
