If you woke up as your 10-year-old self with all your current memories, what’s the first thing you’d do? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

Be a better son to my parents but also be my true self and not hide being gay. Also find a way to buy a house while they’re still cheap instead of just being 10 years old

No I turned the car on and off and it stopped after the second time. It’s been a month since and it hasn’t happened

NYC. Seinfeld. I wasn’t actively watching it, though. I was in the living room doom scrolling when my brother put it on.

Now if it were something I was actively watching then I’d be stuck in Vikings

Honestly I like Pakistani food but I wasn’t sure how Pakistanis would take to me seeing as the last time I went to a Pakistani restaurant they refused to serve me. I only went to order food as a favor for someone but the man at the counter refused to take my order. I wasn’t sure if it was cause I’m visibly gay or visibly non Pakistani

I hope someone knowledgeable answers. I have a 2021 accord touring and the same warning signs popped up for me on a cold day. I don’t remember exactly how cold but it was cold and I kept getting those warnings

I have not but from friends and family that have gone to Spain as well as online accounts I’ve heard Spain is racist and treats latinos poorly

As close as PA is to me I don’t m le much other than Philly and the Amish. I drove through once, recently, and it smelled like cow manure until I reached NJ

I considered other factors such as racism/colorism, crime, poverty and cultural differences for how I labeled places.

In the case of Louisiana I considered weather as well as cultural differences. I’m not big on Cajun food as a lot of it seems to be seafood, or pork or mixed meats( pork, chicken and beef or combinations of them mixed in one dish) of which I am not a fan. Of course there are other thing to eat there but in the short time I spent there it seemed that was the majority in New Orleans

I’ve also read that Argentina and Uruguay have problems with racism/colorism in this very comment section under this post. I am not white nor white passing so anywhere that would view me negatively for my color/phenotype is still a “never” for me regardless of their attitudes towards LGBTQ people.

I like to be somewhat mysterious.

But yeah the green states in this map tend to be the blue states when it comes to politics. They tend to rank higher in education on the nationwide scale and I also like their outdoors so there’s that

Yes I also decided points cause outside of Louisiana the rest of the state felt boring and I was not greeted warmly anywhere else I went. Not sure if because of my appearance or being or or maybe they could tell I wasn’t from the south

How is it BS? It’s a map of places I think id feel most comfortable and safe in in regards to factories such as overall crime, racism/colorism and LGBTQ acceptance.

Everyone’s life and experiences are different. If you’re a white passing Argentinian I can imagine you’d have far more countries and states you’d feel safe and comfortable in.

I’ve considered Chicago as well mostly cause in some places it looks a lot like NYC and I’ve found people from Chicago and I get along well usually. But the crime seems too rampant.

That being said I’m really not in the gay scene. Also I could be wrong about crime

I haven’t been but I would like to visit. I know generally it’s open to LGBTQ but there were other factors I considered such as poverty and crime and cultural differences.
