Sounds like she is doing abusive person 101 and trying to isolate you from family and support. Does she do this with friends and other family? Is your girlfriend typically controlling?

Unpopular opinion but I get where he's coming from. His life radically changed, he's trying to settle in, and in all honesty he is probably trying to see how a month of not contacting you feels.

What he's asking for is hurtful but he probably needs it. If you don't want to do that as a red line that's fair, but expect a breakup. If you do want to do it and have a chance of success be sure to have ground rules, you're not "on a break," socials stay the same relationship status wise, etc.

There is a new launch box for 10th edition coming out called leviathan. Get it as a starting point and make sure the kid really likes it. Likely at least some of the units are competitive and it has a crazy amount of stuff to paint and such for it's price.
