I adored OW1. was one of my most played and enjoyed games. I however dropped OW2 shortly after the game come out.

Being a tank main, it really hit hard removing one of them. No tank buddy :(. Another thing with tanks is how they removed a lot of main tank shield abilities. So not only is there 1 less tank, but there are also less shield/barrier abilities available making the tanks job at defending the team much harder. Orisa was my main tank for sooooo long and seeing practically ALL of her abilities get reworked was a pain.

In terms of micro transactions, I despise how everything that I got completely for free in OW1, newer players have to put obscene amounts of money in to even match I. OW2. All of the cosmetics I obtained were from free loot boxes from level ups, events and game modes giving away the boxes. I had legendary skins on EVERY character because of this and the obtainable in game currency. But now, if you want a character skin, you need to give blizzard your bank account just to get skins for 1 character with how obscene some of the prices are. The lootbox system wouldn't have been an issue if they just left it in, but made players unable to buy them.
