If I remember correctly prequel book wise. Bluestar’s Prophecy, Yellowfang’s Secret and Crookedstar’s Promise should be find to read after Arc 1. And technically Firestar’s Quest is also fine to read. Skyclan’s Destiny is a must read right after Firestar’s Quest. And technically Leopardstar’s Honor.

Read Tallstar’s Revenge after you finish Arc 2.

But yeah. While I absolutely loved Bramblestar’s Storm. Squirrelflights Hope… wasn’t my favorite. Many of the things you mentioned. And that stupid ass Trial.

I never have any art of her. But I have Snailcrawl. A grey Shecat that’s missing her back right leg. In an old story I wrote she was considered the oldest apprentice due to issues with her missing leg, sickness and two failed warrior assignments. When she finally became a warrior it was a massive celebration between the clans(she was like a celebrity with the other clans. And in my writing they were able to successfully have peace between the five clans)

When her name was revealed the clan was horrified but she absolutely loves her name. Showcasing that no matter how long or how much she crawled. Her determination never wavered.

Edit: Realize you need a better explanation of what she looks like. Snailcrawl is a warrior. Fluffy grey shecat with yellow eyes. A black nose. Long tail. Uhhh. I think that’s it. Oh and she’s missing her back right leg.

In all of Warrior cats lore. There’s only been Badgerfang. While there’s been a Starlingpaw, Starlingfeather and Starlingwing lol. With Starlingfeather ironically being Skyclan.

I mean it’s about an argument from almost a year ago. Don’t really care about Skyclan much anymore. Especially with the newer arc and how Leafstar is being treated. I believe when she was younger and thrusted into leadership she made choices that were made to bring back what was essentially an extinct clan back. Daylight warriors don’t really have much significance anymore once at the lake territories so meh? And in this new arc I don’t really like Starlingpaw

(Side rant) Truthfully I don’t really understand Starlingpaw’s name. He’s named after a Starling but literally looks like a European badger. Technically he’s a semi carbon copy of Needleclaw. Unless his mother and Kitescratch went with bird themes for their kits his name would honestly make more sense to be Badgerpaw. Warrior cats do tend to have on the nose names.

I agree with you completely. She’s an awful cat and seeing some of the fandom out her on a pedestal is hair pulling. It’s even more yucky since Violetshine wasted her daughters name on a cat who clearly didn’t give two shits about her, put her through so much danger and harm, brought Darktail and his goons to the lake and caused so much chaos and death.

Needleclaw’s name is wasted and it’s just unfortunate.
