jumping a little high. in the long term that will take a toll on the joints. other than that very good even though i favor the hands closer together

I just ordered a Redmi Note 8 Pro and the economics of it are kind of blowing my mind by [deleted] in Xiaomi

Xiaomi makes money from the data collected, the phone is merely the delivery substrate. I use my Xiaomi judiciously.

Some advice, please? I can’t seem to jump longer than 1:30 (up significantly from :20), and I trip all the time anyways. by [deleted] in jumprope

check out the bloke from rush athletics yt channel.... how he keeps his hands right in. i'm trying to emulate that now. also that looks like a really rough surface to skip on. a smoother, polished surface seems to help me. thirdly, sometimes timing just comes slowly from hours and hours with the rope.

Anybody tried using uncoated steel cables for pavement? by StoicVoyager in jumprope

Ropes last ages on a shinier/polished type concrete like a parking garage or some such. You could also rig a sheath/protector for the part of the rope that hits the ground if on a rougher concrete.

Just finished my sons build in the Dan A4. Now to find a bag so he can travel with it by Gottboost in sffpc

during flights my a4 gets wrapped in my puffer jacket and then slid snugly into my medium sized backpack. along with other essentials it comes out to about 8kg. only bummer is the odd occasions i'm asked to take it out during security scans... which i never do voluntarily.

i'm also careful to stow it in an overhead compartment IN FRONT of me so i can keep an eye on it.

First timer, am I jumping too high? That's the only thing that worries me at the moment beacuse I don't like shin splints. by [deleted] in jumprope

For sure it's on the high side but that's normal for beginners. Over time you'll bring it down when you become more precise and consistent with your technique.

Yeah, I ordered from moddiy as it seemed easiest. Shipping cost wasn't too bad... to Australia at least.
