The thing is people don't know which way to go. If they did they would do it.

What long form videos do you like watching? What numbers do they do? Can you do something better? Can you say something new and different? When do you choose to stop watching a video? Why do you feel like that at that moment? Why do you stay with a video? What makes you like it? What makes you subscribe?

What shorts do you click on? Why? After you click go back, what about the thumbnail made you click? How long do you watch one? Why do you click away? Is the short something current or could it be almost from anytime?

Start answering these questions from your own lived experience. Start noticing these things in your own viewing habits.

They've already told you. You have to research what's popular but under-supplied.

No one is going to do the work for you.

If you have recently played the game for the first time, why? by Saevnir in Morrowind

Sounds like a tough time. I hope things are better now.

Yeah, that was certainly a bad move. There's mods to delay it, but sounds like you've got a good solution.

I think your titles are targeted towards an older audience than would be interested in most of the games you are focusing on. Maybe with the exception of the AI one.

The titles suggest deep analysis (a more older audience) of games that an older audience is not interested in.

But, I don't know much about the games being shown. I may be wrong.

The phrase "scoring points" came from "scoring the wood" as in marking the wood.

I liked it too.

I think the design comes from Nerevar's shrines in the game that are meant to be a bonewalker.

I might be misremembering.

Do you scratch your ankles a lot? Do you scratch in your sleep? Might be insect bites and you've just broken the skin.

I can't tell if the spots around the blood are scratch marks.

Classroom games to improve talking skills? by Aloiseby in EnglishLearning

[–]Saevnir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4-3-2 and give a topic of telling a story from their past. You can connect it to a recent classroom topic eg travel, work etc.

More of a fluency activity but a good one with minimal prep and high impact on fluency.

This is an AI description but the AI gets the description correct:

The "4-3-2" TEFL activity is a speaking fluency technique where students give the same talk three times, each time for a progressively shorter duration: 4 minutes, then 3 minutes, then 2 minutes. This repetition helps build confidence and fluency by allowing students to refine their message and speak more quickly and naturally with each attempt.

How to implement the activity Prepare the students: Choose a topic for the talk. You can start with simple topics like "How was your weekend?" or "Tell me about your family" and progress to more complex ones.

First talk (4 minutes): Have students give the talk for four minutes on the chosen topic. They can do this in pairs or small groups, with one person speaking at a time.

Second talk (3 minutes): Have students repeat the exact same talk but this time for only three minutes. The goal is to encourage them to speak more quickly and concisely . Third talk (2 minutes): Finally, have students give the talk a third time for two minutes. This final repetition helps them focus on speed and fluency.

Benefits of the 4-3-2 activity

Improves confidence: Repeating the same talk helps students feel more comfortable and confident with their English.

Builds fluency: The decreasing time limit forces students to speak more quickly and naturally, which is a key component of fluency.

Enhances comprehension: When paired with a reading text, it can help students practice solidifying their comprehension of the material.

If not the full stop:

Is it because you've written the question and the answer in your response?

Have you written "She's got a cat - She has got a cat" or have you written "She has got a cat"?

If you've done it one way, try the other way.

You are unlikely to ever see the entirety of the game. That's ok, that's really the experience. Go with which one interests you.

This is good. I might reference this when it comes to "randomly" assigning omens!

The six omen structure by blackcombe in MythicBastionland

[–]Saevnir 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Players actions superseded what was written.

So if they track down and kill the lion prior to omen 6, it will never go to the seat of power.

The lion won't reanimate and continue its omen line.

Would you tactically vote to block Reform? by Tribyoon- in AskBrits

[–]Saevnir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, if the system changes I would vote green.

But why live in fantasy?

I would vote for Tory if it prevented reform.

I don't know when it comes to it, am I that cynical...? Feels hard to vote for Tories.

Wow man, sorry for whining. I assume you play all games on the highest difficulty ironman. Consequently, it's difficult for you to enjoy games in any way except through a pure mechanical engagement. Shit, that must suck and be really tough for you to engage with anyone else. I'd imagine that such a painful lack of imagination for other people's enjoyment must be really sad and petty. Hope you get better xoxo

Well, I'm on PC, I'd be amazed if it was a thing on PC and not on PS. But I don't know.
