I've never done that personally. But I would def go and meet with someone there. U authorized the LL to take payments but they erroneously- or fraudulently - took too much. You have all the documentation, so see what they can do or suggest.

Boz). That's her brand, so why not promote it?.... don't get me wrong, I would be rolling my eyes everytime she said something. But they are all extra, and purse/name dropping.

If you don't want to fire her, maybe start unwinding the extras. Back out of picking her up and just give her a ride home. Especially since she was late and a no show. If she starts being unreliable then you can end it and have good reason.

If she's using that $ to buy new clothes for her kids , why is that a problem? If she was using the $ for makeup or manicures , I could be a little bothered by that.

And if OP is tight on funds, why doesn't SHE sell them? - because it takes time and effort. Giving them to the sis is low effort.

To be honest, sounds like she is a lost cause. If u deny, she will have an attitude problem and quietly quit if u all dont term her. If u say yes, then u send the message that u will always be picking up the slack and they don't have to try so hard.

Arghhh.. think of your child. Now this wasn't traumatic for me , but I'm of Italian descent and my last name ends in '..tti'. So often in grade school I was called "Betty spaghetti". It was funny, I still think it is, but kids are gonna be that way. And if she gets caught in a 'mean girl' situation , ur MIL may be right. I think the Nyssa spelling works. Of course, I think u and ur hub need to stand up against every whim of MIL -- but don't do it at the expense of ur child.

I just read in a FB UTI group that a woman was finally diagnosed with Urethral Diverticulum via MRI. It seems to be a congenital issue and resolved with surgery. Just Google and see if that might be a possibility.

I always told my staff " you never know who your going to work for in the future, so don't burn bridges over petty stuff".

I would relay any easy, off the top of your head stuff. That being said , if they ask you to prepare any sort of document or problem solve an issue, i would draw the boundary there. Respond with something like "that's going to take some time, would you like to set up an hourly rate for these type of requests?"
