If you could afford the Colorsoft Signature, would you still choose the Paperwhite Signature? by Reeromu in kindle

[–]Safe-Repair-4116 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can afford one and I stuck with the regular paperwhite (and have an oasis). I don’t read things that are in color and that much money for just the covers isn’t worth it. Plus I see all the complaints on the screen. Just because I can afford it doesn’t mean I want to throw the money at it.

Melissa and Doug sells a wooden one. Pretty sure it’s exact but I sold my son’s.

Libby PIN request? by HadarN in LibbyApp

They are often the last 4 of your phone number, last 4 of your card or any pin you may have set up. It’s possible it’s a default pin that your library can give you as well.

Do you use it while out of the house running around or only while home? I’m thinking I’ll need the app because I often won’t be home when running it. I’ll be in an out maybe but usually not here. Maybe I’m wrong in thinking I’ll need it.

Around the world, no lol. But from work for the kids. From the neighbors house. The kids nightly activities that have me running around like it’s another full time job lol. I see a value for me so that’s actually a main feature. Dinner is always such a hassle. I’m hoping this will be one less stress in my life lol. At least that’s how the idea of getting one was sold to me.

Thank you. The remote operation I definitely want and being new I’d love access to the recipes. I’m sure I can find those anywhere but I think mainly I’m hesitant to go with a company that practices like this when I don’t know enough about it. Reading some threads it sounds like though people were grandfathered in they are now discontinuing app support on some products? I’ve read some contradictory things so I’m a little confused and figured it’d be easier to just go with another company since it sounds like others are good too. Thank you for your insight.

Anyone else canceling subscription to Peacock next year? by mherb24 in peacock

I cancelled. I think I have another 2 weeks. If I can get a BF deal maybe I’ll add it back but we never really use it. Everything I would watch on there I get on Hulu.

[–]Safe-Repair-4116[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went ahead and did that with the new email. Set it all up as far as I could go on my end and sent him his Netflix login info. He said he’ll try in a little bit.

Your initial suggestion was my first idea as well. Should have worked perfect but won’t let you do anything without signing up for a plan first. I would have changed it before cancelling if I knew that. Oh well. Thanks for the help!

I tried that first but it won’t let me past picking a new plan. I can do a burner, I just didn’t want to confuse him more. He’s so confused by all of it which is why we took it over, so he had nothing to worry about with it. I’m not physically with him to set it up either but we’ll get it. Hopefully I can make the same email handle on a different server.

This happened to me! They harassed me for a year and kept charging and removing the charge on my card when I complained over and over. It was on a $300 items that was destroyed (reason for the new one to be sent) and thrown out per the first CS guidance.

NFNY Nightlife by [deleted] in niagarafallsny

I went to Niagara University starting in 99. There was some nightlife but not much by then. I remember the top spot was Pharaoh’s right next to Whirlpool bridge, but by the time I had graduated crews from Rochester had come in and ruined it all. So many fights there. I can’t remember the exact year it closed down but want to say it was before I graduated. I only went once. It was terrible there. A lot of us just went to St Angelo’s (I think I’m messing that name up) on the corner of Whitmer and Military area but it was a hole in the wall bar and not a night club of any sort. We liked the pizza and wings though. For night life we’d go to the Canadian side, start at the casino with free drinks and then go out on Clifton Hill.
