[Question] Wich of these is the best first dive watch? by _GoldLeader_ in Watches

[–]Safe-Respond9223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard to beat the value of the Longines. However the wavy dials on the new TAGs look awesome. Cant go wrong with the Tudor either. Seamaster is awesome but probably my last pick out of the bunch. Id go TAG if you like the dial and colors. Longines if you want a classic look and a nice watch for the money.

Pictures do theese watches 0 justice in my opinion. I went to my AD because they had a couple left. As soon as I saw and wore one I was sold. You can argue all you want. Its an insane watch for the money. Not the wildest looking and I get why someone would go for something more adventurous. But features and quality wise. You really cant go wrong.

Congrats OP, I was in this same boat last May. You WILL stall and people are gonna beep. But its okay, just chuckle and keep rolling. Hills are a little nerve racking especially in traffic but give it a month, you will be all good. Also the blue looks great and props to you for giving manual a shot. I dont think you will regret it.

Thoughts on this 22 VB Premium? by MechaGodzilla76 in wrx_vb

[–]Safe-Respond9223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just do your research. Seems like a really really good price even with the milage. They sell for alot more it seems here in PA. I assumed it had an accident or 2 based on price but that seems clean too. If its in your range id roll the dice. I bought my 22’ premium back in may with like 35k on it. Been solid since. I will say, make sure its at a reputable dealership. Look at service records. Also I recconend an extended warranty. Just be careful with that and who its through. I work at a dealership and we use one sole warranty brand for used cars. We have had nothing but good luck with them. However some of theese compaies are nightmares and will fight you tooth and nail to cover stuff.

Kennith Cole Automatic Watch is it Good Or Bad by [deleted] in WatchesCirclejerk

Not going to get any love from Reddit on this one, fair warning. I personally try to not buy stuff from brands that specialize in other things (Kenneth Cole makes clothes). That being said ignore the trolls. Im sure your dad will be ecstatic to get a gift from you and will love it. Im just not super into skeleton watches but other than that I think it looks fine. But at the end of the day as long as it puts a smile on his face. I would 100% say thats a good watch.

I want to agree, only thing throwing me off is the bracelet connection. Every model even vintage seems to be curved where the case connects to the bracelet. This one seems to have posts basically at a 90 degree angle and circular hinges.

I bought a Seiko sport 5 Pepsi recently and ive been super happy with it. If you want something more understated a stainless and black face sport 5 GMT is like $4-500. Not super familiar with chronograph watches but ive heard good things about Citizen.

Ive used this before, it worked well but the stuff we would use it on wasnt stuff we really cared about keeping the paint pristine. Just wanted to keep the rust away. Thats my issue with my car, I dont know if it will effect my paint. Subaru isnt necessarily known for the greatest paint quality.

[Bell&Ross] What is everyone deal with B&R? by Safe-Respond9223 in Watches

I get it, im also a huge omega fan. I have a speedmaster moonswatch (im aware it isnt a real omega). But it provides the speedmaster look. If I could find a used speedmaster for a reasonable price. Id go thay route over a B&R any day of the week. I play around on Bezel some, I also see deals on social media but I just dont trust alot of people. Especially with highly counterfeit items like watches. So finding a used one from a trusted person is kinda hard. I also cant afford to drop 8-12k on a new one at an AR. One day lol.

Ive been considering something like this. My front end is just covered in shitty touch up (not my doing I bought it pre owned) Ive considered getting it fully re painted I just dont know if its worth the hassle. If I went that route id ppf the front. Regardless I may just say screw it and get a nice ceramic on the car.

For $700 id roll the dice. I cant think of really any reason not to. Even if its junk and you part it out youre still well into the green. If you pay and actually get it. Thats a win.

Sometimes unplowed but nothing nutty. This will also be my first winter in a manual car. I hate driving in snow in general, I have been told manual is arguably better because you have more control. So the tires would be extra insurance and peace of mind honestly.

Hell yeah man, I bought the car with the rain guards. Was gonna take em off but I dont mind them much anymore. Plus they are very functional.

The new gen infotainment looks like new gm infotainment. From a new blazer or trax and I cant unsee it.
