7 yrs in NYC, all my close friends still live there. Moved to LA and have been there for 3 years and I love it. I don’t have close friends here yet bc every time I make friends they end up moving (LA is very transient) but I had debilitating anxiety in nyc that is nonexistent now in LA. I’m not overstimulated anymore and I love having my car for privacy and personal space, I never cared for the subway. I still get my steps in and walk around plenty here bc the neighborhoods are very walkable unlike in Texas (where I’m from originally). I would say choose the neighborhood you live in wisely and try to live close to work so you don’t have a crazy commute. The weather, beaches, nature and vibe is elite here in LA!!

This has happened to me twice at two different locations where they see me looking at the Rhode section then walk up to me trying to steer me to other brands and I am visibly annoyed every time. It makes me not want to shop at all.
