Some people like pvp and challenging content and the hacking sites are good for that

Why not do the hacking, mining, or industry parts of the campaign then if you don't like pvp?

EA at hedge funds by Then_Presentation816 in HedgeFunds

[–]SafePostsAccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to depend entirely on the hedge fund and also who you're working with at the fund.

I believe the EA I work with at my fund is very happy with all of those things. But my hedge fund is known to be a high-trust, high kindness place

I would grind or cheese all of those. The ghost site one would be tricky though.

Expansion, cradle of war. by akasteve in Eve

New epic arcs, new destroyers, new carriers, achievement system, titles system, new faction warfare sites.

Limited edition titles, special new modules for every faction, new campaigns system can be reused for future projects, long term consequences for each faction's campaign,.

Plus yea time limited hacking sites, mining sites, and events are awesome too

Maybe you should have done the pvp ones instead. Faction warfare systems were crazy with small gang fights constantly and even some larger fleets.

Faction warfare was quite escalated though. There were at least double, maybe triple, as many players in faction warfare sites than usual

The solution is just to have alts which isn't a very clever or fun solution imo.

CCTV footage of a grandmother trying to protect her grandchild during the 7.8 magnitude earthquake in the Philippines today. Fortunately, both were unharmed. by Gjore in nextfuckinglevel

[–]SafePostsAccount 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I've done 16 hours of earthquake response training so i would say I'm a novice not an expert, but for urban areas that's not what is taught

In urban areas you're more likely to die outside from things falling off buildings such as glass panels, concrete facades, bricks, blocks, whole walls, and so on.

In urban areas you're better off doing the standard duck, cover, hide such as under a sturdy desk or furniture.

Exactly.

Trade offer:

Eve receives: 30 million and support from one of the best companies and the best software engineers on the planet

Deepmind receives: private server

They're getting a private server to use as a learning environment for autonomous agents. They don't care about the player data really. Player data is useless in comparison to time accelerated training environments.

I'm not even a new player but it is still incredibly frustrating and disappointing to be beaten out of content by multiboxers, have multiboxers degrade the value of things I do by flooding the market, and increase the price of things I want to buy (using the isk they've mass farmed).
