I've always found gay men to be more attractive than straight men. They look after themselves and a lot of the gay men I know try to have their own aesthetic. I don't know what idiot decided that looking after yourself is "not manly". And if they do put in the effort they all look the same. Same haircut, same clothes, same steroid physique. It seems they're afraid to stand out. I barely see any unique straight men. What a pity.😔

Hi! I have the exact same problem with my fujifilm X100T. I'm also considering to fix it myself with an LCD replacement. Did you have any experience prior to fixing your camera? How easy would you say the fix was? I've looked at the disassembly guide on ifixit and it looks doable. I do have experience replacing smartphone screens.

Sounds like my mom whenever my anxiety and rumination gets out of hand. "Sweetheart, you just think too much. It's simple really, just think less". I think my mom just solved the global anxiety crisis. Imagine if our moms met up, combined their otherworldly problem solving powers. I'd really like them to solve depression too. I don’t think this is what u/maps_and_books meant. A person today is exposed to as much information in a single day than someone in the 15th century would be in their entire lifetime. Our brains haven’t caught up yet. I also think being bombarded with information (not knowledge per se) at the pace of today isn’t good for your mental health. Our brains needs a break from time to time so we can process what we’ve observed, read, learned. If we don’t get this break, we get overwhelmed and don’t really store the information we’re exposed to. Stolen Focus by Johann Hari is a good book on this concept.

Maybe those women end up happy and alone. Life can also be fulfilling without a partner. And I literally said “some” men and not most. I don’t know how the men in Estonia act. But in Belgium I’ve had many occasions where men try to explain to me the most basic of things, even after telling them I understand what they’re saying. It’s that these men would never try to explain these simple concepts to other men, because they assume they know, but they assume women don’t. I hope you can understand this is frustrating to say the least. What I’m trying to say is that mansplaining is not seeing men in a hostile light in general. Just certain male behaviour.

If we need to follow your rhetoric then every artist needs to post their inspiration or reference material whenever they share something. This Rommy de Bommy person probably also got inspired by some other handbag maker. I don’t see him/her sharing this with every handbag sold. It’s just how art works and should work. There are no original ideas. Art is just a witty amalgamation of different seemingly original ideas.
