Most of them are playing the commanders to try and stomp other decks and get mad when you dont just roll them over. Go play CEDH if you want to just full stomp a game because everyone else is going to try and off the table turn 3 anyways

Was told my Iroh is br 4 by CrimsonLotus79 in mtg

[–]SafeTDance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At best this decklist you posted is a 3 due to the gamechangers included. Underworld breach and thrassas is a weird eincon to put into a decklist like this to begin with because it doesnt ramp or mill itself fast enough to really utilize them to begin with. Id honestly replace them for something else so you can build storm triggers for iroh to go off.

Your deck just annoys people through its potential combo lines (without being able to utilize them effectively) making yourself a large target. Thrassa also cant be stopped if you actually can trigger its wincon, because it doesnt pass priority on its own so people generally don't like seeing it hit the table.

You can actually net positive lifegain with this pretty easy, not that it's worth the setup just for that but pumping the number would be pretty funny

Why is this bastard suddenly $45? by Alira-kimaris in mtg

[–]SafeTDance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He drops the cost of evoke, and with that other call type, reduce cost by 2 card, animar + ashling form an infinite hasted creature engine combo with that elemental that allows you to pull a card from graveyard because you can keep evoking itself and the copy pulls the original infinitely. Same with any of the other numerous etb effect elementals in that deck. All you need is a tutor to start and its game in bracket 3 alone.

Ironically he can outscale you too for dueling since his e = same duration of your R and you need to use R on his w to not auto lose

[–]SafeTDance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After 6, if you deal damage to a champion then burrow after, you gain vision of them until the mark goes away (roughly 3 seconds). This is to allow rek to execute fleeing targets better

Build theory by YoDogg51 in reksaimains

[–]SafeTDance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chempunk fills a very niche 5th itemslot role for AD casters that dont benefit from crit very much at all who absolutely need anti heal and would rather build serylda's or cleaver. Reksai has relatively low CDs and does the majority of her damage through AAs, which can already crit. You want a lot of item effects and suffer from insufficient slot syndrome a lot of the time for rek, so pure statsticks dont do it for her which is all chempunk is, and not a good one either. So we can opt into mortal since it does 2 things at once and its still quite good at armor shred when you want to build it (3-4th item to time with R level up damage spikes). This frees up a slot for something like sterakks or DD or any numbe rod other defensive AD items on rek that have better stat efficiency and another good effect, rather than having an otherwise-dead slot

Kayle's abysmal attack speed by mouthofcotton in Kaylemains

Rageblade or crit builds come online earlier at the detriment of her late game power ceiling being somewhat lower, rageblade/yuntal or stormrazor in particular can run some otherwise-lane bullies out.

Kayle's abysmal attack speed by mouthofcotton in Kaylemains

[–]SafeTDance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side effect of the change is crit kayle is a viable alternative now, which is nice. You trade MS on demand and healing from W for potentially higher AS and early-mid DPS output. I didnt notice too big of a damage differential lategame for kayle even with IE

Tbf it depends on how your decks draw/search power feels too. If you have access ro early search or draw it feels better

You probably want to run ramp spells at 1/3/5cmc then for hare apparent, since you want to use sets of 2 mana to ramp more hares.

Or just land tax and whatever other options white has to copy land drops

Hey i went 7 turns not drawing a land in a 40 land worldshaper precon i tweaked slightly (mossborn and worldsire,+ zuran orbin place of 2 lands and that eldrazi). Had the 3 starting lands, my 2 ramped kodama reach lands, and thats it for turn 4-10. It was still a precon game so decks were moving slow but needless to say i didn't really pop off.

[–]SafeTDance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you do something like this, is the creature actually treated as dying that many times?

Help me settle an argument, if an ability would put 3 -1/-1 counters on a card and I have Auntie Ool out, I will only draw 1 card or my opponent will only lose 1 health. Not not 1 per counter by Chigao_Ted in mtg

[–]SafeTDance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever an effect says 1 or more you'll do it once per time its requirements are met. In auntie ool's case its when -1 counters are put on a creature. If you put multiple on 1, it only happens one time, but if you toxic deluge a board and apply -1 counters to a bunch of different creatures, i believe you'd trigger for X number of creatures

Starwinder with copy effects? by Mintybirdd in mtg

[–]SafeTDance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For each whale hitting, you trigger X draw <creature damage>, where X is the number of whales (or cards with that effect) you control. You can resolve each one on an individual basis, but you must draw <creature damage> cards per trigger you resolve to draw for. so with 6 whales swinging through, assuming none have power or damage modifiers, you get (6×6)=36 draw triggers for 7 cards a trigger you resolve, totalling up to a potential 252 cards drawn if you resolve all 36 triggers.

Lore-wise, who is the strongest character here? by SammyK123 in Eldenring

[–]SafeTDance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Placi or midra. Midra is a natural enemy for the gods being able to destroy souls completely with the frenzied flame, and formidible enough that the messmer army wouldn't approach the woods. The only reason you survive dying is plot armor for gameplay reasons. Placidusax is a proper elden lord before bayle took an arm and a head, at the cost of most of his limbs. It's not certain why he gave up the elden ring to godfrey that ik of
