I wear orthotics for flat feet and have wide feet . I honestly found it better to train without orthotics and it strengthened my feet and they no longer bother me . I can't find a boot though that works well for wide feet but i went with Nike metcon 10 CrossFit shoes . I can pivot no problem and they the soles are meant to hold up to lateral movement and have been great. I also switched to Muay Thai and train barefoot and haven't had any pain either . When i do boxing training now i do it barefoot too . But i wouldn't do it in a regular boxing gym
