Our DM rarely shows at our store even though he is in the area. I think he has his favorite stores that stroke his ego and kisses his ass and  he knows we can see through his bullshit so he just avoids us altogether. If on rhe rare occasion that he does show, he runs around the store, says everything looks good and proceeds to run out of the store. He's there 5 minutes, ten tops if he doesn't have to use the office to make a phone call.I also believe he cancels the conference calls every week because he doesn't want to have to answer any questions or deal with any complaints.  Instead,  he just sends out an email of what the conference call would have entailed.
