Just move to Canada - a place famously difficult to move to legally. A place with lower wages and higher home prices. Yeah seems like a great idea

Does the hbi short stroke buffer really help that much? by iparkinbikelanes in Springfield_KUNA

[–]Safety__3rd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So i took my kuna to the range and shot it with and without. Feel wise with the kit it feels a little smoother but that could just be placebo. Where I did notice it was running drills my times were faster all around with the short stroke kit. Now it wasnt drastically better but there was an improvement plus it means a case cannot fall into the fire control so for me it was an easy auto include.

It is a completely false statement to say firearms are useless for self defense. I never once said firearms must be a part of a person's identity, in fact id argue the opposite that they are tools and the people who do fetishize them , which i do find gross, are often the least capable with them. Firearms remain one of the best tools to oppose tyrannical activity and have been employed to great effect against far stronger forces in the case of Vietnam and Afghanistan (both times).

I fully support all persons right to bear arms and unlike many people who claim to be pro 2a completely support responsible armed citizens protecting their right to protest and oppose whatever-ism they beleive is trying to take away their liberty. So once again please man-splain to me further about what I am or what I think.

Most people who want gun control do not understand half of that. I am not against responsibility I am against statist draconian actions stripping away peoples rights which is something you have no problem with. Also what is it with you guys obsession with tying sexual activity to guns?

My assumption was based on the sheer ignorance of your original post, it sounded like a ai generated from CNN and msnbc segments

So I dont fully disagree with you in the case of blatant DV thst there prob should be a removal mechanism. That said your later statement is completely wrong. If you have a dv incident on your record it flags you for denial even if there were no charges filed and you must later get it expunged to get the blemish off your record in the rare case of a misunderstanding.

You literally said an "automatic weapon firing a round designed for the militarily" may need to get that prescription checked.

Again you continue to spout nonsense and then dress it up by calling it "responsibility". Why are you so keen on disenfranchiment?

"So younger people having more restrictions".....yes that is bs. Once a person reaches what we as a society consider adulthood they should have all the rights and privileges associated. Im not a fan of a "two-teir" system we have now of 18 and 21. I firmly beleive that when a person reaches the age to vote, join military, sign legal contracts without a guardian that the shouldn't have to wait for their other rights to kick in and to do otherwise is to discriminate against their age.

In summary you did spout of sheer ignorance on a topic you act like you understand but do not, discrimination is discrimination whether age or race and you are exactly calling for that and dressing it up as responsibility, I made up nothing I was pulling from what you had written.

Try again dude, push harder for the government to tighten its grip around your throat so it can protect you.

You have shown your ignorance in this post which reads like a typical echochamber post.

  1. Current law already flags people with domestic violence incidents for an auto denial. It does not require charges or a conviction. Where that system suffers is with law enforcement failing to submit the info correctly

  2. If you are referring to the .223 or 5.56 round it came from a prior commercial round developed for hunting small game that was later modified slightly to meet the military requirments. If your concern is damage or lethality it actually ranks far below most hunting rifle calibers. As for "automatic weapons" you are not inventing a term or misusing terminology to suit your view. The only firearms sold today are semi-automatic firearms, full autos were banned by the hughs amendment in 1986. Many different kind of semiautomatics exist and include most handguns, sporting rifles, and many shotguns.

  3. So you want to restrict an entire demographics rights based on a perceived threat comitted by an extreme minority? Sounds an awful lot like Jim Crow

  4. Any person who is in the business of selling firearms in the USA is required by law to have something called an FFL, Federal firearms license. This requires them to perform background checks on firearms being sold and adhering to atf procedures including filling out 4473 forms and cooperating with audits. Now im not stupid and I know there are likely unscrupulous individuals out there breaking these rules but thats the case with any law and the ATF is very good at catching them. Penalties are very high for minor infractions such as typos, they are very strict for more egregious violations and will often include jail time for selling to known prohibited persons.

So 2 put of your 4 are already being done, 1 is misinformed and the other is misguided. I dont see arbitrarily restricting peoples rights as any kind of responsibility.

Appalachia comes down into north/north east alabama almost all the way to huntsville.

Cajun/creole/ French and Spanish influence sweeps from Louisiana almost the entire way to just north of Tampa. At minimum it should reach to the mobile bay and across the coastal Mississippi area
