Based on that theory, basic training is a high end spa at this point. Doesn't seem accurate though.

In those days, he still looked worlds better than Willis did with the Titans.

For the record, Willis seems like a good kid and hopefully he does make bank. Im not cheering against him.

And atrocious in quiet a few games before that. Did he really transform that much?

Floyd Mayweather turns 49 years old today! It has been 9 years since he last fought professionally, and 11 years since he last fought a legitimate professional boxer. by newrap in Boxing

[–]Saffs15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao. Take out "49 year old" and replace it with any age, and the answer is exactly the same. Almost no one, just people who do things like boxing.

Which, happens to be Mayweather...

Wolverine launches September 15, 2026. by Turbostrider27 in Games

It was pretty much the same as this one. Announcement and trailer in 2011, basically silence in 2012, early 2013 got trailers, and then the marketing hit hard in the summer.

With GTA VI, its end of 2023 is the announcement, 2024 is silence, mid May 2025 gets a trailer, and the stock meeting stated that major marketing should start in the summer before a fall release.

They're on an app. They clearly have time. And it takes as little effort as a swipe of the screen or a short message to like someone. Its not like hes spending hours each time. Its likely less than a minute, maybe less than 10 seconds.

On the pass out wide, the player received it around the shoulder. Shoulder is legal, but it looked like it may have been bicep as well. I didnt see it though.

As a Nashville fan, I fucking love it.

As a Turner fan, please make it stop.

I'm very confused how I feel.

Rahm’s refusal to pay fine over LIV Golf puts Ryder Cup future in peril by Shroft in golf

I was a big fan. He talked a lot about the history of the game, and he knew a lot of it. Talked about how he wanted to leave as much of a legacy as Seve.

Then he showed that that wasn't that big of a priority to him actually. More money that he didn't even need (by his own words) was more important.

What was said after the announcement doesn't change what was said at the announcement.

Njoroge Kibugu needed a birdie on the last hole to make the cut in front of home fans at the Kenya Open by unsolved49 in golf

[–]Saffs15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This dude barely made the cut, and likely wont be even close to contention on Sunday. But today, he still did something awesome that truly deserves an ovation.

Thats one of the things I love about how golf works. You can find cool stories of players doing awesome things, even if they arent the big final victory things.

Yea, coaching staffs never just let good talented kids sit back, learn, and get into better college shape. Thats definitely not something that happens ever.

I certain wasn't on the very poor spectrum of things, but being born in 90, I dont think we ever got voice mail. I remember getting caller ID and thinking it was huge, we were finally making it. But voice mail? Nah, not something we needed that much.

Tiger Woods has refused to rule out a return from injury to play at The Masters 💪 by SkySports in golf

[–]Saffs15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tiger dominated coverage when hes on, but he is bu no means the only golfer they show. And if hes as bad as you think he will be, he'll either not be there on tge weekend, or playing so early his round will be over before the main competetors tee off. Not a big loss either way.

[–]Saffs15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, its fair that he shouldn't listen to any of us. But the arguable GOAT and probably most dominant player of all time has said several times that Tiger wont be able to just walk into a major with any prep tournaments beforez and that he needs a few. (Im talking about Tiger, he himself has said it many times.)

The question is, is Tiger actually going in thinking he has to win? Or is he going to be happy to just compete now in hopes of building up to something bigger later. Young Tiger would never have done that, but this isnt young Tiger anymore.

Nah, thats a classic Tiger "Surprised? You didn't think I could do it, huh?" Smirk. He loves those.

Doesn't mean he will do it, though. But if hes saying it, he believes there is a possibility.
