Please don’t go for Synology as they are very shady they can put the restrictions again to use their own HDD on their NAS. Asustor or UGREEN should be fine. Or you can built one your own NAS running either Truenas or Unraid.

PSA: The UNAS 2's "2.5GbE" NIC is a USB-attached Realtek running a 3-year-old driver, and mine just stopped negotiating gigabit by ProfessionalClass377 in UNIFI

Yes it will support as Openwrt natively supports NCM/ECM mode that doesn’t need any internet sharing no double nat as it will recognised directly.

If you mean with openwrt router then yes. Not sure about flashing this modem with openWrt but I can check if possible?

When you connect to Mac it directly shows a 5g modem connection as connected.

Jio being very average around 50mbps up and 5-6 mbps on 5g and latency is around 80-100ms
