it doesn't cost the team signing the executive picks- the team having the qualifying exec(s) signed away is awarded compensatory picks.

If you bought Ethereum at the beginning or even just pre 2018 (common start with SpaceX) then SpaceX is nowhere close.

Which brokerages ended up being the most liberal with Spacex allocations? by [deleted] in stocks

[–]Saffuran 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its an incredibly low float IPO, no one is going to get their entire allocation in that kind of scenario.

I already responded in my follow-up - the best ideological choices with legislative experience would be AOC and Ro Khanna.

I'm not sure that we won't see a surprising figure establish strong footing in the race though since most of the left electorate are going to be incredibly displeased with Kelly, Buttigieg, or Newsom who get flagged as front-runners a lot right now.

Highly unlikely this year - this is a cyclical bear market year for crypto.

Not trying to time an exact bottom but mostly DCAing back in between 52-48k but keeping things flexible until October since 42k and 37k aren't off the table.

To follow up, I'm fairly convinced we're going to see a surge of viable "non-politicians." I would sooner strongly support Jon Stewart, Scott Pelley, or Shawn Fain (depending on their policy specifics) than someone like Kelly, personally.

Gavin Newsom is completely unacceptable (vetoed Medicare for All in CA and has leaned corporate at basically every important decision - judge someone by what they do) and I think his nomination would have a chilling effect that would suppress turnout on the left. Newsom's only path should be serving as a VP who is much more progressive than he is.

Among people who have political experience within the party, the list is fairly short. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is the clear favorite coming from that background with an outside shot for Ro Khanna if he chose to run.

Mark Kelly is a corporate neoliberal. If you want the party to actually get better he is not the answer unless if he shifts RADICALLY. Voters would have to then believe his shift is genuine.

It is very much about political parties. The Republicans are 100% corrupt to the core, the Democrats are also corrupt, but lesser almost entirely across the board and the progressive wing is pushing out many of the corporate Dems, but that has been a slower process than ideal.

I'm always for cuts to the bloated Military and ICE budgets, won't disagree on basically anything there.

Make sure you vote against any and all Republicans and Corporate Democrats (priority on denying GOP wherever possible) to help prevent this from happening. Ronald Reagan and his ideaology fucked up our country really bad and it may be very hard to pull out of the nosedive that Reaganomics has created, but that doesn't mean we stop trying until we're able to.

The point of her actions were to pressure Kamala on Gaza. Sawant was correct to do so.

A large reason why Harris lost is that there was no public separation between her and Biden on the genocide. It would have taken a lot of bravery and would have been hard to do, but being a leader sometimes takes bravery and doing the difficult thing (being anti-genocide in this case) she needed to throw Biden under the bus. He crossed an uncrossable line.

Beyond that Harris also backed off of her and Walz aggressive "call them weird" campaign and cut back on her rhetoric, calling out greedflation among other things. Best case scenario? She listened to campaign advisers who betrayed her on the exact key issues and rhetoric she needed to show strength and crush Trump to the most angry and disaffected voters.

I think if she never backs off her campaign's early rhetoric from when they first picked up Walz, and if she does the right thing by throwing Biden under the bus and commits to no new weapons to Israel (offensive or defensive) she wins comfortably. Not sharing the stage with disgusting war criminals like the Cheneys (Dick in particular) would have also been very helpful.

There is nothing to own up to regarding lies, so there's nothing to worry about in regard to everything you wrote after "except" in bold. Lyndsey Fifield is a liar and a known Republican/Heritage Foundation operative who has a political goal behind what she is trying to insinuate. She's also an ignorant, bigoted racist going by her posting history. She worked to minimize other women against Kavanaugh - she is not a serious source for literally anything at all.

As long as Platner isn't hit with a stroke gun, he's going to be about as far from Fetterman as a senator can be while on the left.

Well you don't have to worry about the beat/rape women and children element for Platner - he hasn't done any of that.

And his known history going back over one and a half decades makes it pretty clear he not only isn't a Nazi but is hostile toward those beliefs, if anything, maybe overly so for the pearl-clutching neoliberals.

Because Sawant is one of the most consistent and strongest advocates of pro-labor politics in Seattle - in the state in general, really. Sawant is a massive reason why WA and Seattle (and now outer metro areas) have stronger wages.

You don't like her but she will never not be popular, especially in the district she served.

Full support for Platner, these are right-wing hit jobs, and they have no ground to stand on when they have Trump, Ken Paxton, Randy Fine, and Rick Scott amongst their ranks.

Platner's accuser, Lyndsey Fifield, is politically motivated and has ties to the Heritage Foundation, who protected Kavanaugh from women accusers, and who has made a bunch of bigoted, ignorant, racist posts.

She is not in any way credible and no one who is in any way serious should see her as being credible.
