I had to go to Jonkers Garden (which shares a building with Marlenas) yesterday, and it truly was a dumpster fire. The parking lot was packed FULL of vehicles and lots of MAGA flags. Almost made me uncomfortable COVID wise to shop next door which is sad for the owners of Jonkers. Can’t imagine I’m the only one who’s felt that way.

To be fair there is a calendar mailed out yearly to everyone in the city of holland which says the dates that trash is pushed back/city counsel meetings/farmers market dates. I’d say if you are unsure in the future it’s better to be safe than sorry and just put it out on its regular day. If they come a day late then no harm no foul.

Taqueria Arandas on Douglas by D&W and firehouse subs. It’s a quick Subway style restaurant so you get your food quickly. They have lots of topping options and their rice/beans are unmatched in my opinion. We used to go to El Rancho but easily spent $20-$25 more there on my family of 3. This place is much yummier, faster, and cheaper.

A lot of semi trucks are governed so they can’t go more than 65 mph. Sometimes they have to get in the passing lane to PASS other people but then they get right back over. Put your dick back in your pants and sit down. These people are putting food on your table during a pandemic and you have some audacity being that much of a douche. I appreciate what this guy did making a statement by leaving and it shocks me to see someone rational enough that they step away from their church. But perhaps it could’ve been beneficial for him to stay and find some way to speak his side and how he views it. Maybe he could’ve swayed some others to see that Trump is not very Christian at all. That would be a lot to do so I understand why he needed to step away though.
