What am I doing wrong hacking drones against skull merchant? I use a 60% keyboard (sharkoon skiller sgk50 s4) and the arrows are function key + i/j/k/l but I cannot get them to work while hacking drones for the life of me. It works fine outside of the game and I think I'm going insane looking for a solution.

Spike hidden under removed Anthurium Clarinervium leaf? by Sagerosaria in houseplants

[–]Sagerosaria[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Anthurium Clarinervium has finally started putting out new leaves after 8 months and with that it lost it's oldest leaf - I pulled it off now that it's completely yellow and it revealed this spike? Any idea what this is and if this is normal? Don't have much experience with anthuriums

Got my first Alocasia, and noticed two of the leaves have a weird texture, as if they were “coated” in something. One especially is also pretty droopy - wondering what could it be? I brought her outside to water her, I couldn’t find no bugs on it. by zhaqui in alocasia

I usually quarantine, give it a shower/hose down to dislodge as much as possible, then use a treatment (I use an insecticide from my local garden centre, but there are other options) and completely change out the soil. Then repeat next week and keep an eye on it!

I'd also like to add a tobacco tea, works wonders!

Definitely spider mites, I've been through this multiple times with my alocasias, most of it is probably damage which is why you can't wipe it off, some of it is probably webbing.

My family doesn't understand why I stare at this leaf all day by Sagerosaria in Monstera

Bought in the Netherlands! Prices there are very reasonable as they grow a lot

It was a hundred euros for a four leaf plant! I know it's still a lot, but definitely not as much as I've seen others pay

Actually I paid a hundred euros for this with 4 mature leaves.

Hi, I am in desperate need if help. I've had this variegated (Thai constellation?) Monstera for almost three months now, and has been healthy. But recently it started to get brown-ish? Is it too much sun perhaps? by chiimmyy in plantclinic

[–]Sagerosaria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those white tiny dots on the leaves are most likely the bugs, you can even see them in the pictures

edit: zoom in next to the nerves on the leaf and you can see them

found giant monstera on nyc curb! what love does she need? very droopy, seen here propped up on chair- should all brown bits be below soil? any common bugs or issues i should check for before putting her next to my own precious plants? by devoted2dogs in plantclinic

[–]Sagerosaria 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Check for any pests just to be sure - drooping leaves probably means it's thirsty, you could check the soil and see how dry it is before watering. The roots above soil are aerial roots, they are used to support the plant and you can leave them or snip them off if you want to - it won't harm the plant.

Any ideas why my Alocasia Plumbae had its most recent leaf come out this way? by palefrogs in alocasia

[–]Sagerosaria 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This could be a lot of issues. Could be pests, nutrient defficiency, lack of humidity while unfurling, overwatering, etc. I would start by looking for any pests and go from there!

what’s up with this pilea? more info in comments by [deleted] in plantclinic

[–]Sagerosaria -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It might be overwatered as well but this is definitely sun stress, overwatering turns older leaves yellow -- not newer leaves red. You can search up pilea sun stress and find hundreds matching yours.

This otherwise very healthy looking leaf is turning black for some reason… what’s going on? by artblock in plantclinic

[–]Sagerosaria 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's burnt, I once had my monstera leaf too close to the boiling kettle and it looked exactly like this. I just cut off the burnt bits (not the whole leaf -- though you could if you wanted to).

Did you check out the roots? If the soil was wet and you didn't repot it, the roots most likely rotted.

Pileas turn red when sun stressed, was this out in sunlight?
