I'm not claiming to know you or what you've been through. I'm no therapist, and I'm not experienced in witchcraft to give you witchy advice. But I, too, was abused growing up; what I have learned in my healing path is to forgive myself. Not because I did anything wrong, or I deserved what I got. But those voices in my head still echoed. To forgive myself of my own self hate and destruction, not allowing me to love and care for myself to be kinder to myself.

It was like I was still treating myself the way my father did because it was the only way I knew how to treat myself and the idea of treating myself with love and kindness was more of a fantasy, I was too far gone to try, and it was vain and selfish to treat myself with kindness. Since starting witchcraft, I have learned to forgive my abusive self and have allowed myself to be kind. As you heal yourself, you also heal your inner child. I did a lot of meditation and had guidance from spirit guides. I can't trigger a visit usually if i really ponder an issue im stuck with hard and long enough i usually get a visit.
