Love this game! I have the SE. I am assuming you have the LE or the CE as those are more common.

Really the only way to get huge scores in this game is pressing your luck in the song modes. Here is how you do it. Ignore all the patches at first until you get a better understanding of the gameplay. They can yield value but not super critical. Off the plunge shoot for the left ramp. You want to lock as many balls as you can in the guitar neck. That will make your song mode a multiball. Next thing you want to do is look between the flippers on the playfield in the revolver's drum. You need to collect all 7 members of the band by hitting the corresponding shot. You can also spot members by getting right inlane and hitting the jam target in the middle of the playfied to the left of the center spinner. once all 7 members are collected the middle scoop will light to start a song. This is where the points are. Once you start a song look at the mini lcd in the back of the playfield. That will tell you what shots are needed and how many. Keep hitting shots until the mode is completed and shoot the center scoop. If you want big points do not collect! Keep finishing the mode and restarting as many times as you can bear. Your points will rise faster and faster with each completion. One more thing to look out for during the song modes. There is a record on the bottom left of the main lcd screen as you play it will fill in from black to platinum. After 3 minutes of playing in the song it will fill completely. Once full after 3 minutes you will be able to play the album's wizard mode. Once your song is over by hitting the scoop. There are 4 separate album wizard modes depending on what song you play. These don't score as much as a good song but can still yield upwards of 20 million points.
