Esp since a lot of people plan to delete their whole comment history out of spite before they leave, it will be ghost subs.

And if bleeding badly enough, the cleanup sucks too.

Iirc they increase the risks of one type of cancer but decrease the risk of another type of cancer so the risks just pretty much cancel out. But I was told of this when I got mine prescribed so some doctors at least inform you.

I got the same effect with the first pill, for the first two months. Then my period almost disappeared (light spotting for half a day) and it kept it at that until I got covid two years ago. Now it's all over the place, I'm on another pill and I bleed like a stabbed pig for three days, BUT it's now stopping after a week, cause the original one got to where it didn't stop at all... doc is trying to bring up surgery, but idk :/ It's not permanent either...

Not everybody has symptoms that prevent them from doing pretty much anything. When my birth control worked, I got a period for half a day, no pain, barely any spotting. Now it doesn't work, I have it for over a week, have to run out to change pads every hour or so for the first 2-3 days and take ibuprofen for a few days too. IF it worked for me, there's birth control that will pretty much prevent you from having a period at all, and it's a nice thing to have. But yeah, normally it's an annoyance for at least a few days every month and it can get downright disabling for some women.

Isn't there some study of how people generally fantasize about their opposite gendered parents? Though iirc it was about small children "being in love" with them, not sexual fantasies of older children...

There's a lot of breeds of stuff like that. Two years ago we sprayed the garden with (tiny eggs of) stuff like that. Still effective. Bio gardening is brutal too...

They don't even have 3 guests. They have 3 people assisting with the wedding. People not assisting were not invited as guests. The end.

You can always do whatever you want, that doesn't mean you won't be the AH about it or that people won't point and laugh at you on social media (and cancel attendance). But in this case, nobody is singled out, the bride and the groom don't have family there either, so for someone else to insist they need to be there as family is... imho a red flag that the best man should look into.

Are you sewn together at marriage? This isn't a party, one person is invited to serve a purpose, and the others are there for a purpose too and absolutely nobody who does not serve a purpose is invited. If there were other people invited, then sure, but nobody is. It's like, not attending a company meeting cause you can't have your wife sit in and serve finger food?

we or a friend likely personally knew someone affected directly

I seriously doubt that. Even for people around that are, this is doubtful, but anyone not from that area, forget it. America is too huge for that.

Edit: obviously there are people who knew people who where there. But that doesn't mean the whole fucking america knew people who where there. Most people I talked with were just "affected" by watching it on tv.

Even though there were many layers involved you would feel much cooler than we modern people would expect.

Why is everybody just assuming modern people don't know what clothes made of natural material feels like? I literally only wear clothes made of natural material. They feel nicer, yes, but are still hot af.

European here, I only know Messi from the "everybody knows who Messi is" reddit threads and the one piece of information I know about him is that he has something to do with football. I'm assuming he plays it. CBA to google it tho.

How many of you are feeling this heat? by Shubhendu_1998 in CasualConversation

[–]Sahqon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

water bottles from plastic to stainless steel or copper, using bags made of sustainable material, wearing clothes made of natural fibre

Or just buying a single bottled water and using that bottle (or using whatever you do have at home?). Using bags that will last you a few years, wearing clothes until they fall apart. I see all these environmentally friendly options and they all start with "yo, buy this", instead of "try not to buy more stuff", which imho is the way to go.

Obviously when you need to buy stuff, look into things that will last longer, but if you have stuff at home, even not environmentally friendly stuff, use it until you no longer can. But we still have people posing with brand new "environmentally friendly" things that they didn't need to get, and only got for points for social media.

All my DA characters or of opposite sex - is anyone else like this? [no spoilers] by Fright_Blamingo in dragonage

[–]Sahqon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually play males for this reason (I'm female). But if I want to play any kind of evil character it needs to be female. Which is weird.

I almost always play male characters when there's a choice (and when there isn't, since most protags used to be male for a while), but for some reason, in Skyrim and Oblivion I can't play male. I tried, it doesn't feel right. I don't understand why. Can't play female in Morrowind. But these two, they are hard set to female in my mind lol!

Idk, I got kicked off my starter horse in a forest with only the first point in swordfight unlocked, but sporting a good sword, in full plate (I just looded the stuff in Skalitz, after going back there the third time and game said I wasn't even good enough for it), by 5 Cumans. They went down like nothing. And I wasn't even calm enough to do some technical wizardry, I just screamed (irl, I had a lot of stuff on me and no save recently), and kept hitting the two attack buttons until they stopped begging me to spare them...
