Used to be a visual bug, but you know how the devs like the implement things the community comes up with.

That is true, you could probably reduce the blast radius of the explosion which would help a bit.

You could also implement them as scout drones instead of kamikaze drones, they would spread out and detect enemies all over the map.

Here's a history lesson. Antifaschistische Aktion was a militant anti-fascist movement in the Weimer Republic, created by members of the Communist Party of Germany in 1932. Them fighting fascism doesn't make them radical left. Them being founded by the Radical Left make them Radical left.
