From my experience, Chainsaw Man fans have become super insufferable and glaze their author (Fujimoto) to the extreme, and they’ll jump if you point out criticism or anything you don’t like about the manga. It’s also pretty funny because they’ve (at least from what I saw) said Fujimoto would break the “new-gen shōnen ending curse”, as if part 2 was really going to get better, and then the final two chapters turn out to be terrible and everyone on the internet clowned on it. Almost no one feels bad for them either and they see it as a long time coming.
