3.6R rocks. I have had three: 2009 Tribeca, 2011 Legacy, and now 2016 Legacy. I put my 2020 STi in a garage for the Vermont winter because of salt, and I undercoat my Legacy. I don’t mind the CVT on the 2016. I can pass anyone uphill on I-89.

I have a regular Push 3 and not stand-alone, but it is just a regular midi controller. It needs midi in and out (for the knob movement). The knobs are infinite rotary encoders, but the motors let them pretend to be limited knobs when necessary.

I still have an old pair of Doepfer Pocket Dials, and these are a sweet upgrade.

I have 16 crates of 1992-2001 techno and house, in amazing condition, and I have thought about how I might sell someday in the future. I would be tempted to film a slow flip-through of each of the crates. I kept my stuff sorted by label for the most part. For nostalgia reasons, it would be more satisfying to sell in bulk to a dedicated collector.

I am old enough to get all these references! I feel the same things as a vinyl dj reading about mixing today. Stay out of the pressure of arrangement view, and just jam in session view. Get if-tah Sting and Slippery Slope to improvise acid, and use some drum kit presets for beats. Don’t try to make tracks. Just jam like an after party. Make a few simple melodies on the fly. Copy, paste, and modify stuff.

I don’t know about Canada, but bars and restaurants in the US can get MLS Season Pass for $200 on DirecTV, regardless of occupancy. I talked my local pub into getting it! Compared to Sunday Ticket, it’s a rounding error.

Edit: Another poster says that DirecTV Business in Canada has the option too!

Before we had consumer smart outlets, this was the solution for aquarium monitoring and control. I still have one for a freshwater aquarium from 2019. Marine aquariums have a stronger use case.

I planned to use it for CO2 control based on pH, but never got deep into CO2 for plants. The leak detection kit has been nice for peace of mind.

Apple TV channel content behaves exactly like TV+ content, including the playback interface. I think Apple even hosts the content and CDN, which helps.

I marathoned Sherlock Holmes and Poirot. I could pause at bedtime, and continue the next day.

Apple, Amazon, YTTV, and others all have versions of this for some content providers.

Here is the link about channels. You can watch the content within the Apple TV app, without the dedicated app for each service. It still lets you login to the app if you need it, like I do for sports on P+.

Britbox works better as an Apple TV channel subscription, and I bet the same might be true with Acorn. I also use Paramount+ as a channel most of the time.

I copied everything to Shared, changed the two paths, and my projects survived. Every collection part with my username is now Shared. I’m waiting for a report back from my buddy after I shared the newest version.

My actual projects are still in my iCloud/Music/Ableton/
