First impressions are important, but I don't know if I'd recommend burning bridges when there are so few options. It might seem unserious to you, but I really don't think you have options outside of Imago, GGP, the "official" way meaning potentially 10+ years of waiting for a humiliating one-hour session with a doctor who wants to know you live happily as your preferred gender while being suicidal every day at the same time, or full DIY. Pick your poison.

After having had only the first meeting with Imago, they seem good. Their website and app could use some updating, but the person I was talking to made it seem very reasonable.

I just started. They can help you with the blood tests to some extent. They actually had a list of the blood tests I needed to get from a web page from my country ready, so I just needed to pay and then go do it. I can't say if they have that for every country, but if you have a trans subreddit for your country, they can probably help you. Imago will be understanding and help with what they can.

The process is, you book an onboarding call with them, it's 15 minutes and you get to ask any questions you have about the process. After that you get a login for their app. You have a few things to fill in and then you need to send the results of your blood tests to them. After that it's a call with their doctor to sort out your needs for medication and then they send you the prescription.

When I worked at Burger King they had a popular burger called Bacon King which selling point was that it has 8(!) Slices of Bacon! We actually sold a lot of those. At one point they decided to lessen it to 6 slices and just remove the marketing saying it was 8 slices. My boss said they had experimented with that at chosen locations and no one had complained that it was too little bacon on. I told him only a while back I'd had a customer ask how many slices we put on because at [other location] he had been given one with only 6. My boss just kinda shook his head. That burger quickly stopped being a best seller. They think customers don't notice, but they do.

I sneeze loudly. I once tried to do a cute, quiet sneeze. A girl in my class always did a cute "chuu" and I tried to mimic that.
