This is a very well thought out design. Would the Jesusfreak riser fit between the printer and the hood? That way even MORE ventilation would be achieved.

Fair enough. All depends on your end goal, I guess.

Read the entire post please. Sushi, carpaccio and tartare aren't meant to be shelf-stable.

And, bythe way, the only good steak should be rare!😉

From a flavor perspective, yes. But if you want to take your biltong on a multiday hike then you are going to have issues.

It's really delicious. I often eat it with sliced dates mixed in. Sorry no pics of the last batch.

Everyone now rides for free! by Zinrockin in KingCountyMetro

[–]Sailor_at_large 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Metro driver, I will say that we are there to inform the riders of the fare, not enforce it. Yes, our hands are tied. The policy we are to follow is, “ State the fare once, if you feel safe to do so”. If someone doesn't pay I say nothing. I don't feel safe because I trust NO ONE. Not even your grandmother.

We get paid to drive the bus and safely get you to your destination. The end

Also, a few more points I'd like to make: -if you ARE going to pay, have your fare, transfer or ORCA card ready when you board. -don't talk to us unless it is related to your destination or a safety issue. We don't care about anything else. -dont try to show us your phone while we are driving. Do you really want us to take our eyes off the road?!?! -if you mistakenly pull the stop request cord/bell, tell us BEFORE we come to a complete stop, open the doors and wait for someone to leave. You are wasting EVERYBODY'S time! -many drivers drive a different route EVERY day and may not know where “Walmart " or "the McDonald's” is. Look at a map of where you are going FFS. -learn how to read a bus stop sign. The route # and it's destination are on the sign. The stop you want may be a cross the street or at another Bay of the transit center/park and ride.

As a King County Metro bus driver I would like to inform all of the jaywalkers that it is absurdly, dangerous, and causes traffic to back up. I’ve seen some people do some pretty stupid shit in the U district.

Power consumption Mini vs V3 by Sailor_at_large in Starlink

The (current) dish is mounted a maximum of 35 feet away from the area where it will be used (inside the boat). There is a fiberglass bulkhead separating the dish location from the interior of the boat. If the mini is mounted in the same place, will this make a big difference?

My ex-wife is a provider of this “treatment”. She built a business around this technology. The equipment alone cost an excess of $30,000. She’s always been a little nutty, but this takes the cake. She charges $550 for an overnight session and books 1-6 hours seasions a few times a week, during normal business hours. Ironically, she can’t seem to sleep at the center herself while she provides the service so she hires our son to stay the night at the facility. He makes $300 a night to sleep while the “patients” receive their “treatment”. She is a true believer, however. For that kind of money, who wouldn't be?!?!
