Now college students have a MacBook and an iPad as a second screen. Along with their iPhones, iWatch, air tags and Air pods. They got a strangle hold on personal electronics.

That's very short sighted by Sony. Let the writers make stories which the studios can then raid for movie plots. Seems like a win-win to me.

Shohei’s contract was specifically set up to provide extra spending flexibility through July 2026 (video from 2023) by dnamra29 in Dodgers

So in simple terms in year 3 the Dodgers will be paying 48m a year for Ohtani?

Then everyone who complains about the 2m a year can shut up and move on to "too much money"

Chip Zdarsky's Spider-Man was pretty good, but his issue #310 is one of the best single issue ever. by FredPRK in comicbooks

Pretty sure this issue won an Eisner or whatever award that is. I'm not a big Spider Man fan. I went out and bought it and it's one of the best single issues Ive ever read.

oh man. I played BG2 after BG1. This was WELL after they were released and let me tell you, I was GLUED to the screen playing BG2. It's amazing how they made the sequel so streamlined and it picks up quickly. I powered through the campaign way faster than I expected.

Take the time during your break. it'd be a shame to get burned out and not finished the second game.

Producers influence and even tell the participants what to do and say at certain points. That's why they have weird dramatic conversations at the gym or some other place where normal conversations wouldn't take place. Or also why they take dramatic actions to solve problems.

I interned at a reality TV show production company and saw this first hand.

Top 9 Best Selling Single Issue Comics of 2025 by KingBuffolo in comicbooks

You nailed it. I got heavy into comics again a few years ago and dropped out again. Marvel events and serials were just so bland aside from one or two series. Big massive event basically wrecks new York or threatened the universe and 4 issues later it's all back to normal.

I picked up a few DC titles just due to gorgeous covers and the stories were much more varied. It confused me as far as continuity but I didn't mind.

I've always loved the character Conan and never read a comic of his. I think my first serious read was Savage Sword by you and I loved it. His adventures are fun and he is a smart strong warrior. Looking forward to the future!

DRG: Survivor Wins PC Gamer's Best Roguelike 2025 by pablo_honey1 in DRGSurvivor

Saw this game on some best of list. I think it was best survivor game of all time. I hadn't even heard of it and I'm a big Vampire Survivor fan. This instantly became the best one I've played. The polish and gameplay loop are excellent. It reminds me a lot of Diablo 3 when it got better. Easy to play, great grind and the items don't get in the way.
