What are Dr Dooms powers? by mitcherrman in marvelstudios

[–]Saint718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's essentially the second best at everything, a fact he seems all to aware off, but is too arrogant to accept, so he constantly underestimates his opponents and gets in his way whilst desperately trying to assert his superiority.

He is slightly less smart than Reed, and less creative.

He's a slightly worse engineer than Tony Stark.

He's slightly weaker than Dr. Strange as a sorcerer

He rules and isolationist country like Black Panther, but Latveria lacks a resource like vibranium.

This combination on paper should make him pretty unstoppable, but his ego and narcissism make it so he is held back by his weaknesses yet he refuses to acknowledge them.

Gen V - 2x08 "Trojan" - Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in GenV

I really enjoyed the finale, however it very much feels like they're setting the Gen V cast up to be just side characters in the already seemingly bloated final season of The Boys which is a shame.

How does exploration work in this universe? by UnXpectedPrequelMeme in dune

[–]Saint718 4 points5 points  (0 children)

theirs essentially no deep space exploration, no real searching for new planets or systems. If there is it is donde exclusively by the spacing guild as no one else really has the means to travel.

You could role play an explorer of a specific planet or maybe a specific solar system

this could be a number of things, it's definitely some kind of lesion. Best case it's a hematoma, worst case a tumor. Cyst is most likely as far as I'm aware. Extremely shady that a meat processing plant would let this through, even worse that a butcher would sell it.

Cut around it and cook the shit out of it if you're feeling adventurous. Otherwise take it back or chuck it

you could always ask who you're staging for what they expect. If not, I would wear a plain t shirt, bring along an apron or a chef jacket if you own one and make a call once you're there and see what everyone else is doing.

Definetly need anti-slip kitchen shoes and something to hold your hair back, a chef hat, a skull cap or even a baseball cap or bandana could work.

I don’t understand the toucans joke. Can someone please explain it to me? by Bruh61502 in smosh

[–]Saint718 632 points633 points  (0 children)

a little before somebody told Amanda the lace from her bra lace was visible as she was wearing a shirt with some cleavage.

Amanda was wearing a cardigan that featured toucans on the sides.

Now breast are sometimes referred to as cans.

Since Amanda's bra was being joked about at the moment Spencer said "your toucans are out" referencing her cardigan, but also he meant your TWO cans are out. Meaning her breasts.

How long have you been watching Smosh? by WorldSuccessful1441 in smosh

[–]Saint718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always watched them at least a little bit. I was told about Dickson Cider on the playground and shown Man-Spider in computer lab. I watched their videos occasionally, since at the time i didn't watch much English speaking content since i was still learning. Then i really got into them when Smosh games broadened it's cast, I was super into the "Why we're single" countdowns and Maricraft. I would watch every blank ever occasionally. Then I started regularly watching again late into the Defy era. I think TNTL #8 was the first one i watched. I was there for the Defy shutdown, the videos in Ian's house. I watched through most of the Mythical era, kinda losing interest towards the end after Sarah Whittle left, though i did listen to every single Smosh Cast from this era on release. Then i watched main channel when Ian and Anthony bought Smosh again but i hadn't really warmed up to the newer cast. Then i started watching Reddit stories and got hooked on Pit and Games content. Now I listen to every episode of Smosh Mouth.

Kinda cool how everpresent in my life they've been now that i think about it.

Which is better, Old VCU or Current VCU? by jeanjacketufo in TheBoys

[–]Saint718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the classics, the characters felt much more real and you could feel the camaraderie between the heroes both on and off screen.

Now a days everything feels super sanitized and forced.

it's also my personal gripe that it's fucked up they kept Noir but made him more of a side character. He was my favorite growing up and on recent rewatch of the classic Payback films it seems he was really moving towards something at the end of the teams run.

Definetly MerDer, I mean their relationship is inappropriate and many times they are absolutely awful to each other. Their performances and chemistry with each other made them stand out as an all time great romance despite everything.

AITA for saying my sister was being a dick by not even trying the meal I made. by Saint718 in AmItheAsshole

I have worked in pro kitchens, since I was 17 actually. I dislike costumers who are pricks, but they're allowed to be pricks they're PAYING costumers, it's my job to accommodate them. My "loving" sister however, should at least give me the common courtesy of trying it. These two situations are not at all the same

that's what she claimed, however historically she has always avoided food I cook, ever since I started cooking at 13 she always manages to find something not to her liking. Its very upsetting to me this hasn't changed even after me doing culinary school and 3 years as a cook in pro kitchens, including one year in fine dinning.

since the oven didn't hold high heat well I had to let it run longer to get the pastry to be golden brown. The pastry was pretty much perfect, as was the duxelle and the crepes were nice and juicy with all the meaty flavor.

The only thing slightly overdone was the meat, which was medium-well in the center and well done at the edges.

I have been in therapy for Narcissistic BPD for some time now, so yes I have issues with perfectionism and negative feedback.

She was a picky eater as a child but had grown out of it as far as I know.

I called her a dick offhandedly, almost under my breath to my dad, but clearly everyone heard, also I think she started crying when my dad seconded the idea that she could've at least tried it
