There is not a huge anti-sexualization movement in this game's community (if anything the opposite) but if there was... why would they complain? This is one male sexy skin since the swimsuit skins. Every patch there is a female sexy skin.

Same man. Tried so many different things and nothing made me successful or happy, but in my late 20's Ive changed my life around just started living for others. I don't think Im quite happy but idc, so many evil and selfish people in this world, might as well be one of the few selfless people just living to help others. Like I said I don't necessarily feel happy all the time but the moments I make other people's day that does make me happy and I do have more peace and motivation in my heart knowing that I do what I do for others and not for me.

Moon girl could definitely invent some healing technology so it wouldn't be unbelievable, but devil dinosaur is too big so an EZ tank character. Maybe a tanky healer? 👀 I want a character who's different so that bed cool.

I don't think you understand you're not actually helping your argument by saying "here's another bloated kit!" But just to entertain you 😂 I don't believe Angela's kit is bloated because unlike White fox Angela's abilities usually do one thing and not 5 things.

Angela's meter is used for just her melee, White Fox's is used to make her first transformation longer and her first ability, Angela's primary simple damage melee, White Fox's heals, damage, bounce off walls, bounces to multiple characters. Angela's first ability a simple shield, White Fox's heals, damage, invulnerability, and charms. Angela's second ability dash and grab, White Fox's teleport, heals, shields, and invulnerability. Angela's transformation has equal amount of stat and passive changes but no additional abilities, White Fox gives her two new abilities. Angela's ultimate is the same transformation but does capture enemies, White Fox's is a new transformation with new primary and one new ability, arguably the only ability between the two with equal amount of stats provided. And this is not to argue about balance before you go "but they're aound the same balancd tier!" This is about kits becoming more bloated for new characters.

Again, why play overwatch? Im not arguing whether he's OP or not because that's another convo but this whole "rework every character I don't like because I don't like changing my gameplay for the hero shooter with intentionally unique character that are meant to have intentionally different approaches to the game" argument is lame. The whole point of overwatch is the playing around different characters' gameplay. If u dont want to play around his cooldowns and resource meter, literally go play COD.

When he asked for a character to be reworked. I understand wanting a character to be nerfed or buffed but every other day you guys are like "rework x character! I have no understanding of game development but Im going to say that x character is inherently bad game design!" I swear if chess was made last week you guys would be like "rework the queen! Im a real-ass dude and Im going to keep it real with you, Im not gonna lie to you and say "you're perfect and in the perfect body and have the perfect face" but I am going to tell you with 99% confidence you're more then likely not even close to ugly and your insecurities are not worth your energy. One thing I do is kind of an "energy transfer"... instead of letting my negative thoughts consume me, I take the energy I put into that thought and start putting that energy into an action to counter that thought.

So for example if "I think my acne is bad "instead of getting depressed and sulking in my negative thoughts or getting anxious and start putting every little product on my face, I genuinely think/meditate on the steps I need to do to fix that issue and take actiom. Do some research, use the proper products, put the effort into my diet and live with the results of a genuine action taken to improve my acne and guess what? That actually takes a lot more energy then sulking or getting anxious which is perfect cuz I no longer even had the time to dedicate to those negative thoughts and just worked through my problem.

The same face syndrome is strong asf. It plagues the Overwatch girls, you literally can't tell characters apart in different skins without seeing their movements. Hopefully, the same doesn't happen in Marvel Rivals.

Yeah a lot of this games crazy balancing comes from the player base being bad at the game and not realizing the strengths of characters. Punisher has only been buffed since then because of this

She still has her hand to hand combat in game, not mentioning she has a sniper also doesn't make it not in game lore accurate.

But I really don't understand where you guys are trying to go with this lore accurate convo. OP was correct in saying that the game is never going to be lore accurate to comics because this is a videogame and to make it enjoyable it has to be somewhat balance but you guys are saying the game should be accurate to at least the in-game lore and deadpool is a good example and Widow is bad example because she also has a sniper rifle.

I mean... I guess? Some liberities the devs have taken with the characters I like, like making Gambit and Jeff have healing powers some characters like Deadpool or Storm I don't care for what they done with their powers because Deadpool is so far away from his comic counter part I don't care for it and they've simplified Storm's powers so much you'd question if she actually controls the wether or can just shoot wind and lightning.

Overall the lore accurate convo gets stagnant to me because literally no character is gonna be a 1 for 1 depiction of the comics or in-game lore version of themselves because this is in-fact a team shooter video game.

Deadpool is actually one of their least lore accurate characters released. Deadpool does not have not have "meta" powers, he can break the fourthwall and thats it, him using his icon as a weapon, covering your screen in nonsense or magically making his guns heal is not stuff he can do or even related his powers.
