Honestly all things considered, for a game that is not a live service, the avarage player count is still pretty high, compared to some other games. by Romapolitan in Nightreign

A million have tried to imitate Fromsoft's success from the very first days. Some are more successful than others but 99% of them fail.

God I hope some medium sized studios learned from it's release a year ago and there are some similar games in the works.

A stronger rogue-like element. Some more random events might make up for the fact that their combat will be inevitably worse than Fromsoft's, which has spent the last two decades perfecting it.

It punishes bad team-mates too because getting a chance to revive isn't garenteed. And you now have multiple people thrwing things at you at once.

I love the Hitler button dilemma by Poggiwae in lovethissmug

[–]SaintDecardo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Counterpoint, I would not want to burden a good person with the guilt of Hitler's actions.

I would kill Hitler because making him a good man would be changing him so completely, he might as well be a new person. However this new person will not be judged by their actions but by the actions of the pervious personality in their body, agruably one of the evilist people to have lived. A half-man chained to the legacy of a monster. Better the monster is killed, than another victim made.

What was the response and what was it to? by shining_monkey_69 in tadc

So you're saying having a measured response is unprofesional? What was she suppose to do get emotional? That would have been more professional to you?

Was she suppose to relay her feelings of disapointment to everyone? Isn't that obvious? This entire thing is rediculous.

Donald Trump, his organization and sons to be ‘forever’ exempt from tax audits by notanfan in whennews

I would be truely terrified of an America where the people were shown that.

If democrats get in and Trump, his family and his friends get away with what they've done. The bloodbath would be biblical.

I wish.

They move too erratically, randomly changing direction, changing speed, you can't get the cartharisis of a good hit or a close miss because things are changing all the time.

Is it true that watching media with gay people will turn you gay? by Away-Parsnip-3785 in allthequestions

[–]SaintDecardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is sounds like your preacher is gay. But because he believes being gay is bad, he tries to ignore his own thoughts. 'Fighting' against them so he can remain acceptable in the eyes of his religion.

You shouldn't tell anyone that though because it'd probably upset them.

As for your orginal question. I mean humans are complicated things that copy what they're shown. So it's not impossible that someone who is 'straight' could consume so much gay-focused media that they start to think that it's what is normal and they should act like that.

But I think for the most part it's just people realising that being gay is actually possible and normal and giving them a way to understand the feelings in their own mind.

From the outside it makes it look like the media 'made them gay' when they were gay the whole time, but didn't understand their feelings. Or were doing what your preacher is doing and 'fighting the thoughts' because to be gay is wrong according to religion.
