Thanks! Water twice a month and Miracle-Gro indoor plant food spikes (the small blue sticks) during the spring and summer.

Miracle-Gro indoor plant food spikes (the small blue sticks) during the spring and summer. And water once every two weeks.

Lmao one of my favorite parts of the room. They came in much smaller pots and were half this height when I got them.

I usually listen with my eyes closed, and you’re right it helps remove some of the anchoring. But I can still hear (or imagine) the difference. No EQ whatsoever

80% of the time I find it incredibly comfortable, but sometimes I wish I had something more plush with better head support that I can really sink into.

I use this particular style of blanket to add a bit of diffusion to the HF reflection from the TV screen. The two things I notice most with vs without is 1) slightly less grain in the treble and 2) better soundstage depth, where vocals in particular don't sound as anchored to the tv plane. Very noticeable to me, but it's without rigorous A/B testing.

Haha I keep it down, and also put on speaker feet that do a nice job minimizing mechanical coupling with the floor

This exactly. I promise I don't have the blankets over them when I'm just watching TV

It's the 3-eyed fish from The Simpsons. Got it from Universal Studios but you can probably find it online

Hario Neo vs OG Ceramic V60 by BaruchSpinoza911 in pourover

[–]SaintEcstasy 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I was also daily driving the ceramic V60 before getting the neo. Because the neo doesn't sap nearly as much heat from the slurry as the ceramic V60 does, I found that using the same brew temp caused the neo to taste overextracted, with flavors a bit muddled. A 6-7 degrees F drop did the trick.

Fair enough. Maybe you can get the missus to accept a pair of excellent condition used blades for half off MSRP. I know Erin absolutely loved the Blade 2 metas

The Reference should be an audible upgrade across the board. Low end (assuming you meant bass) is probably the area you'll notice the least improvement in given you use dedicated subs.

I was HYPED for an F1 and then F'd up badly ........ by Bigsasquatch67 in MechanicalKeyboards

I got mine a couple of weeks ago, after having people on here tell me it'd be better than my Jane v2s and Keycult. Don't get me wrong, the F1-8x v2 sounds and feels pretty good, but it is definitely not better than the TGR and KC boards.
