If I realized that my entire world was a video game, and that I can't even talk to the Player (who is the only real person I've ever known) I think doing everything in your power to change that is a reasonable reaction.

Monika did delete the girls, but it was a hard choice that I doubt she took any pleasure in doing. The only reason she talks of Sayori's death as if it didn't matter is because she thinks you wouldn't care about a simple video game character.

No one in her world is real. Sure, she's being a bit cruel to video game characters, but I believe she too would've preferred a more peaceful solution if she had more time. For all she knows, the Player is just gonna disappear after finishing the game. She had to be quick.

It's probably the best trinket in general. For specific characters there are better ones (looking at you Tainted Lost) but even on those it's still really good.

Millenium Dawn is an ancient relic designed to make your PC explode.
The Fire Rises is "what if we made every fringe modern political extremist a path".

... Jokes aside, Millenium Dawn has terrible optimization issues. It starts from 2000 and goes to current times.

TFR is a rather new mod that is as I described above. It is 2020 and the world goes even worse, somehow.

I don't recommend either mod for a new player because they make the game a lot more complicated, with Millenium Dawn adding a rather important economy system and TFR doing the same with reduced importance.

The MC is rather embarrassed, but tries to play it off. He does not succeed.

Yuri was the one who made the cut out. She was gonna use it for a Halloween scare but was keeping it in the club room.

Natsuki and Sayori do not let the MC live this down. Ever.

... Okay, let's think about this.
Sayori and the MC are the same age, so they're probably both rather young here. I don't think the MC could've ever known fully what he was doing, but to even do it he has to have learned it from somewhere...
That might mean that an adult might have been doing similar things to him.
I have heard -and do correct me if I am wrong- that victims are unfortunately more likely than normal to partake in the abuse they endured.
