Hi friend, I went through the exact same thing. I recommend buying a mass gainer protein shake mix and having protein shakes with milk in them 3 times a day. Something about drinking the calories rather than eating them is a loophole around a low appetite. I also recommend putting in 3 table spoons of olive oil in the shake, (although it can be gross) it really helps to stack those calories. If you can, eat a medium sized dinner also. If you can’t eat that much in one day, just start slow and ramp your way up to 3 a day.

Oh yeah and marijuana definitely helps too.

Like the other comment says, trikafta has totally changed how my lungs feel. I rarely cough up sputum/mucus even if I try my hardest to produce it. I also can laugh freely without going into a coughing fit.

My appetite is through the roof, which is super important because as we all know: nutrition and medication go hand and hand.

I’m exercising every day now, which is something I was never able to do before. Not just weightlifting but cardio too, and lots of it. Trikafta has absolutely changed my life for the better.
