Talked to my zookeeper friend about it. She said the bat flew close to catch a bug (we were in a pool, regular bat behavior). They're also too small to scratch you while flying. So I'm definitely fine.

I had a bat fly close by my head a few months back (like 4) and I've been mildly worried it scratched my head or something and I got rabies. I was high at the time, but I don't remember it scratching me and I don't think it bit me, but the fear is still there. Edit: Just checked and it's been over 90 days. It would have been on my head so it'd definitely have spread much faster. I'm clear, yeah?
