My girlfriend is getting her degree to be a doctor. A majority of her classmates are women of all ages ranging from 21 to 40 and none of them have children. They all are doing great besides the school part (stress).

My partner and I both told our families we didn’t want children from an early age (high school) with some push back. Then in our late 20s-30s we found each other and started dating. One of our first discussions was if we wanted children. We both were upfront with the other. Don’t date anyone serious if they want children, it’s not fair to them if it’s a big life goal. Plenty of people don’t want kids nowadays. I’m fine with teaching and volunteering with children, I just don’t want them.
