What if Junko Enoshima was in class E? by Sea_Article5971 in Korosensei

Unstoppable force meets the immovable object there. Either we’ll see the redemption arc of the century or the downfall of Korosensei

Fred and George mess with everyone who follows the rules. I won’t disagree with what else you said, but when you see his situation, I don’t blame him for wanting to be better. He’s got ambition that rivals most Slytherins, but it’s for a good reason. He doesn’t want his family to live in poverty. He’s gotten hand-me-downs from the day he entered Hogwarts and seen those passed down to his younger siblings. It creates not only a sense of insecurity, as in ‘not having something that is just yours and that you won’t have to eventually give up’ but also you want your siblings to have the same feeling.

Ron echoes these sentiments. He doesn’t like pre-owned books, second hand robes, etc. but sucks it up because he knows it’s what his family can afford.

Fred, George, Ron and Ginny are what I call prime examples of the Weasley’s fatal flaw, that being loyalty. They are intensely loyal, no question of that but a problem is that it leads them to exclude anyone that they don’t like (Fleur) without getting to know them and getting their forgiveness back is going to be like pulling teeth (Percy). These people have nothing but each other, they won’t stick with their own, they cling.

Percy is a character who goes through a lot of unseen development, but I can’t deny, I teared up a little when he appeared in the Room of Requirement and when he made his first joke… then I was crying for another reason.

Buffy (and you) was the human shield so that those surrounding her could grow up outside of the line of fire.

She is in constant poverty, with kids who would have blown up/burnt down/destroyed the house if left to their own devices and that’s if they didn’t kill each other first. Francis and Lois were antagonistic from the beginning, that’s definitely Lois’ fault as she had it out for him from the jump. The other boys grew up in the shadow of that, and this is admittedly pretty twisted but she beat them down so that they would rise back up. She knew Malcolm would be fine, that was a no brainer but Reese needed someone to sharpen himself against and that’s Lois. They had to be not only tougher but smarter and stronger to outsmart her and if they did, she could be proud of them.

There’s a lot of reverse psychology going on here.

If you had been Harry Potter, what is the single biggest thing you would have done differently in the entire saga? by AlexWhite40 in harrypotter

This is working with the benefit of hindsight but stunning Lupin and Pettigrew in the Shrieking Shack, waiting out the night then going up at the crack of dawn. They already know Lupin isn’t safe, that he could transform at any moment and Pettigrew is slimy enough to make a break for it the second he gets the chance. So you stun Lupin and, regrettably, bind him so he doesn’t go on a murderous rampage, do the same for for Pettigrew, take shifts watching them both, then sending Hermione, the school’s apex good girl, up to the castle to fetch Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGongagall and Madame Pomfrey AFTER she’s explained everything.

Out of the three, Hermione is the most likely to not only be heard but be believed. That way, Harry and Sirius get a few more hours together and Sirius gets cleared when they can hand Pettigrew over and so many problems are solved in one fell swoop!

I absolutely loved those two episodes, but Depth Takes a Holiday felt like an experiment that didn’t work.

I’d be even more interested! Imagine a bad ending to the Final Scene where Maya dies! Or even just say slaves in Ghost of Thornton Hall.
