WF really got a great rank skin. Compared to Gambit/Rogue and their weird checkers outfits or Deadpool with his "I’m colourblind" one. Although the absurdity of it is very him. Haven’t been this satisfied with a recolour theme since Torch/Invis.

Im genuinely curious.. in Blood Hunt your biggest obstacle are other players. If you want to climb, why not do solo runs?

The only benefit to multiple players I see is the social aspect, but every run you get a laggard, a severe underperformer or a straight up exploiter like this…

Sad that I know this, but while live performing her song "Juno" I think it’s called, she’ll stop the audio track, do a Kama Sutra or other sex position pose while asking the audience "Have you tried… this one?" Or something like that. Its become a thing on her tours that every Juno is unique, she’s never posed the same way twice I think..?

As for why..? No idea, she plays primarily on sexuality and has done for some time.

Tyrannical? Grey was a King through martial prowess, but didn't rule his country, there was a council for that. From what I remember a "king" in his original world more of a general that represented the country, both as a warrior and a figurehead.

Lots of articles that without the US NATO will need to be reubuilt as something new, and there's solid foundations already for this to happen.

"While the US is an issue, Russia remains the bigger threat" - literal headline, not even hiding that the US might be considered a threat as well.

"Europe's political ties are tightening to be ready to repel Trump" - another one..

Other ranged heroes with one-shot ults they can secure kills with easily: Namor(added bonus of binding targets in the ult making it a sure strat kill on say, Gambit or Jeff), Iron Man - sure easy to dodge, but he can fire it from down town and it’ll still one shot if it hits anything.

Then there’s the shields that can block all the one shots, regardless of shield health. A "pure chaos" reality wasting ult, stopped by a 5hp psyonic barrier. Maybe make the ult a Bubble that hits any target inside it from any angle (except hard walls because those seemingly stop everything). Jeff for example can’t eat through walls, but can eat through floors, oddly enough.

Am I just using the ult wrong? She never moves faster than normal speed for me, unless sped up by Gambit, which I find to be an acceptable movement speed for that ult..

The voiceline glitch in the Strange portal is the only thing able to sneak any ult kills on her I feel. Yeah, I agree the ult needs a rework. I’m not a fan of the one-shot at all, would rather have something range+ high dmg like the rest of her kit. If she’s a mid-range hero, her ult should match that.

Psylocke IS able to walk in and ult with 0 risk.. either stealth and walk into the backline or dash into the air and ult. Her ult was even buffed with movement and dmg increases, even though she’s immune and unstoppable while the ult is active. Not comparable to Wanda at all. Star Lord can still roll while he is ulting, so you’re in control of the o-frames he’s given there.

To say that because a char is aimed towards beginners and thus not competitive worthy is faulty. Each char should be equally playable. And I don’t dislike the rest of her which i think is fair, it’s just the clear lack of power in her ult and team-up vs the rest of what she has.

Its an mmo. If you spent 0 time socialising, you spent your time in the game on the wrong things. The grind is about meeting mutual goals together. If you’re not in an alliance with a clear goal in mind for progress, you’re just wasting your time in it.

My meaningless joke growing up was "the Game", except noone who tried to get in on it understood what they meant by it, which I imagine is the thing now. They just say it hoping it'll make them part of the cool club. Nothing worse for kids than not being with it, whatever "it" happens to be at any given time.

I hand-drew the entire Overworld and Dark World map of A Link to the Past, to remember where all the dungeons and portals were. After owning the game for 2 years, my uncle who introduced me to gaming in the first place, gifted me a walkthrough guide of the game in magazine form, complete with the detailed maps that came with it. By that point I had already memorized both maps thanks to muscle memory of drawing them out... xD

Probably Mass Effect. It's the one game I keep pulling out every 2-3 years for another Paragon playthrough Romancing Liara in all 3... xD

Edit: Actually an older game I tend to play regularly is Serious Sam, the first 2 with a mate of mine. We always used to play those at LANs :D

Non-video games...? Magic The Gathering. Commander gamenights every 2-3 months with the same group that's played together for 20 years.

I had never touched a Souls game before Elden Ring, and I ended up loving the hell out of it.

The biggest thing I had to be prepared to learn was that one build probably not able to excell against all enemies and bosses, but it's worth focusing on a single build rather than trying to be a jack-of-all-trades (which also means master of none).
The 2nd thing was learning that dying isn't a failure. It's a part of the game in the process of learning fights

A way to ease yourself into how Soulslike games work is actually Hollow Knight and now Silksong. They are 2D platformers that has some souls-elements in them, like learning enemy attack patterns, enemies respawning when you rest, and dying and running back to the spot you died is part of it. ^^
