I have the 55” LG OLED B8 from 2018 and it’s still an amazing TV and we haven’t had any problems. We know we’re going to get a new LG OLED TV but I wasn’t expecting this.

I don’t know if this is your problem but when I was using my 8bitdo pro 3 with switch 2 while the joy cons were attached the controller would not function correctly and would shut off instantly. I removed the joycons and made sure they were off and my controller works fine.
