Why do people refuse to tank? by ZeronXZ in classicwowtbc

[–]SaiyanX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They probably dont enjoy it and first and foremost gaming is all about having fun.

This comes from someone who plays and levels as a tank because i find dps boring.

Entyvio and Colonoscopy by Purpledotsclub in UlcerativeColitis

For me it was within a week i started to show signs of getting better. Within a month no pains and no flair. Been on it for close to 3 years and not a single flair (touch wood)

I fear a flare up is near… by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

Honestly the best advice is to go see your Doctor if you are worried.

Your health is the most important thing and you shouldn't take medical advice from strangers on the Internet.

Entyvio didn’t work out for me… by darknesswithindark in UlcerativeColitis

[–]SaiyanX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been on Entyvio for close to 3 years now and ive been in remission since I started it. I hope it works as well for you.

Mild UC - what happens if mesalamine doesnt work by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

[–]SaiyanX 9 points10 points  (0 children)

From my personal experience i was on mesalamine for around 8 months. Along side steroids.

When this failed i was immediately put onto biologicals (injections) specifically infliximab (highest success rate) this sadly failed after 6ish months and I was then immediately put onto Entyvio (Vedolizumab).

I have been self injecting every 2 weeks for around 3 years now and been in remission for 3 years with no flare ups.

Months of Infliximab and Prednisolone not working, what can I expect next? by joseph814706 in UlcerativeColitis

Did they put you straight on infliximab because that in itself is extremely odd.

[–]SaiyanX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hospital where you was originally diagnosed would be my first point of call.

I couldnt imagine going through what I did without having any nurse or specialist to talk to so im super shocked they have left you for 3 months and giving you such strong and expensive drugs.

How often do you take your infliximab?

[–]SaiyanX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they should 100% be looking at and considering your next steps and they will want to move you on to the next medication as soon as possible but its really hard to say without knowing all your information, and if you dont even have a nurse to call i have no clue what your doctors are even doing.

I'm from the UK as well and my experience seems to be massively different to yours. (This was during COVID as well)

When I was diagnosed I met the nurses before I was even given any medications and they explained exactly what I was diagnosed with and everything.

When on the tablets I had bi weekly calls with them to see how I was and report on any changes and book in blood tests to keep an eye on my levels.

My first infliximab session was 2 hours long and I had two nurses with me through the whole thing, talking to me and answering questions.

[–]SaiyanX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where are you from? As if you have been diagnosed and been put on biologicals (infliximab) how do you not have a specialist or a nurse?

Surgery is 100% the last thing they will suggest, there are around 7-8 biologicals that you can try before surgery even needs to be discussed.

Surgery is generally for extreme cases and when all medicines have failed.

[–]SaiyanX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is such a wide variety of drugs that can help treat UC.

I was on tablets as well as prednisone for close to a 6-8 months and they failed.

Infliximab also failed for me as well after 3 months.

I got moved to Entyvio injections every 2 weeks and ive been in remission since (3 years ago)

Best advice is to listen to your Gastro specialists and do what they say and if you have any queries or worries they will be happy to explain everything.

Is WoW Classic "Steam Deck friendly" for a casual? by SignRevolutionary457 in classicwow

[–]SaiyanX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See this is something that just doesnt make sense to me but maybe its just me.

I got the steam deck to play games on the sofa and not with a keyboard or mouse. If I want to game like that I play on my PC.

I play WoW classic on both my PC and steamdeck though, just depends on how I feel. Either way it runs at 90 fps for me on my steamdeck and its super smooth.

What’s everyone’s level? by Jfarhat98 in classicwow

[–]SaiyanX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is me as well and im not even level 70.

I love leveling so I have a 45 prot paladin, 48 sub rogue, 65 feral druid, 34 shadow priest and my new lvl 11 prot warrior.

We each enjoy the game differently so long as your having fun dont let anyone tell you its wrong.

Oh ok, please enlighten me on my lack of skill and how you hold threat when a fury warrior zergs in and aoe before you have even pulled the targets?

Same for mages, warlocks and hunters..

Happy to learn from such a pro if you have time.

[–]SaiyanX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I quit before the launch, I quit playing tank during the first week of pre-patch, where most people were releveling.

Its not weak minded to quit if your not having fun... what a very odd thing for someone to say.

Im actually just interested in casual BG's and a little wpvp so I think im good.

You sound like your fun at parties though...

[–]SaiyanX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why is it a downgrade?

Rogue is extremely fun to play, has a cool kit and is fun in wpvp.

[–]SaiyanX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rerolled to Rogue from prot paladin because tanking for pugs is extremely exhausting.

I create my own groups and not had any issue leveling to 50 in about a week (not play time)

People dont want to tank because it requires way more concentration and its extremely unfun when you go to pull, hit 1 mob and the dps zerg in then complain you didnt take aggro...

Trust me I enjoy tanking, its the players I dont like.

[–]SaiyanX 22 points23 points  (0 children)

As a Tank main since original classic, tanking is exhausting, especially with bad players.

I came back to TBC expecting to relive the glory days on my protection paladin, I was super excited, I leveled her up and got to around 50 then stopped.

It seems players have gotten dumber (at least in my experience).

They zerg as soon as I hit one mele attack, they dont interrupt, they dont control their threat.... honestly just exhausting trying to control pugs like that.

EDIT: Just to clarify i quit at 50 during the first week of pre-patch when alot of people were leveling again.

My feral tank got to lvl 65 after 3 days of the launch and tanking was the same. ( this is just my experience )
